Another previous time from the trophy. I had a go at it a little while after launch and could do no better than 7:31-ish, eventually came back to it in February and set this on my second lap, I stopped right there so hopefully there's a big improvement to be made

The time sheet has been updated and I'm more than happy with a little 'best of the south west' rivalry. Provided you dont mind losing most of the time

EDIT: After much joking about being fastest, my current TT record from the trophy event was 7:23.909. I shall endeavour to at the very least replicate this, hopefully beat it as that was set a LONG time ago

The thing to watch is the oversteer on braking and be careful to not downshift in 2nd gear on some slower corners, on most its better to keep it in 3rd gear you will carry more speed and have a smoother exit.

I did a few laps now with this in my mind, to keep the gear in 3rd in the slow corners 👍. It helped, but didn´t manage to improve my time. I ran four laps at 7:29xx. There are only 4 corners that I use 2nd: first corner, the sharp lefthander just before T4, the Carusel and the last corner before the finnish.
At hard breaking, the oversteer is really bad. Especially right after the bridge at full speed. It´s very easy to loose contol there.
Seems that I´ve met the wall at the moment. Glad there is still a week left of the competition. It´s both very annoying and fun at the same time

If that can help in any way, heres a video i did a while ago with the Spec V with oil changed, it drive slightly more agressive than the GT-R '07 but the line is very similar.

Its not a perfect lap but can give some pointers i think.

The GT-R annoys me, it just loves to understeer at completely random times..

My submission for now, GT-R is a mighty beast, and by far one of my top favourite cars alltogether.

For some weird reason i find the 2012 Black Edition GT-R to be a little more unstable, the 07 just feels a little more planted though more understeery compared to the 2012, where the 2012 has much sharper turn in and the back breaks out much easier. Could also be that the 2012 is quite a bit more powerfull though.

Agreed, great lap time. With a controller to, nice work. Slight improvement for me, I'd like to break the 20s, but this will do for now.
