Are you the Ray I raced online a couple times?
And nice time 👍
Can I ask what your T1 and T2 times were? If you remember?
Great Time 👍 👍UPDATE:

Optimal is a .795. I left 2 tenths in sector 1. Left minimal to no time in the other sectors. Held 101 through last corner, maybe a little time to gain in the bowl right before it, only held 87.
Thanks, I need to work on a better line getting though the tunnel.Thanks. Sorry, but I don't remember. I remember my split 2 time was somewhere close to 1:01.000 (plus or minus 2 tenths or so) A .6 is definitely possible, not sure about a .5.
Someone I know just ran a 1:24.926, he should be posting soon.
Which tunnel are you talking about? The first one, coming in I swing out wide, half on the sidewalk, come out a little bit and come back in for the next corner. For the second one, I'm flat hugging the inside curb. Im all the way out before I come in for the bowl.
Oh, turn 5. I hug the inside of 4.5 (lol) and cut back in. I swing out onto the sidewalk.
Great time. Sorry about being picky but you did set that lap in Arcade mode? Just wondering because you mentioned about people running it online, the physics are different so you might be even faster off-line!Driver: RAYzRAYz/RAYzRAYz

I joined this competition accidently, i followed a buddy in an online room and found people doing this and they directed me to come here after I ran some laps. cheers!

wow you were right. I'm faster in arcade mode

I'm going to sound like a jerk now, sorry I just have to ask.
Are you using the "cement" by the guardrail before the first tunnel (between turn 3 and 4)? Or staying between or on "marked" road? I'm not sure what the track boundaries... I never asked.
That is just a blazing fast time 👍 .
I'm new as well.oh. Sorry i am a bit new to this. I didnt know i couldnt use concrete. I did go on the concrete. Did the other 2 people driving under 2.25sec use concrete?
I'm new as well.
M mistake, I thought we couldn't use it
Great time 👍
So, as long as the laps green it counts? I will need another go. I haven't been using the cement
Going to wait to post my final time, but I reached my target! sitting at 25.8**s at the moment. I set a 26.146 then got stuck in the mid 26's for a while and getting really frustrated because I couldn't keep up with it . Eventually managed a 25.844 with the ghost off and now on consistent sub 26 sec pace so hopefully I can secure the fastest DS3 time!GTP OLR16: Offline Racing:
Offline racing is defined as all racing that is done Offline. This includes all Arcade Time Trials that are linked to the Online leaderboard and all Time Trials that are offered in the Online section of the game.
...
B:
Two wheels (except when airborne, where the vertical projection of the car onto the track counts) must be in contact with the track/circuit which includes the rumble strips and footpaths, but not grassed areas.
...
E:
Curbs, sidewalks/pavements are not part of the track unless otherwise stated in the Race Specifics section of any given event.
F:
Tarmac/Asphalt or any other kind of surface mentioned above that are situated beyond the normal limits of the track, Run-off areas for example, are not part of the track unless otherwise stated in the Race Specifics section of any given event.
G:
Any kind of rumble strip made of concrete, stone etc are part of the track unless otherwise stated in the Race Specifics section of any given event.
That is OK, the golden rule is to keep 2 tires in play at all times.Sorry for being so pedantic, but I don't think we should be using the concrete. The problem is the whether the lap is red or not makes no difference to the OLR; if one rule is broken on a given lap, it cannot be posted here or be a part of something that's organised here.
This is why I suggested listing in the OP exactly what we could and couldn't do. What I take from the four OLR points about using that concrete is;
B states that rumble strips and footpaths are part of the track/circuit, and G states rumble strips made of concrete/stone are part of the track unless stated, however;
E says that curbs and pavements are not part of the track unless stated (which they haven't been) and most importantly F states that any of the aforementioned surfaces and tarmac that are beyond the track limits (which I think they clearly are) are not part of the track unless stated (again, which they haven't been). It does look like driving with two wheels on the concrete, and two wheels on the rumble strip is ok though.

Yep. I think it says that any events that are organised here have to meet the OLR.That is OK, the golden rule is to keep 2 tires in play at all times.
My 25.6 with a DS3 and my 25.5 with a DFGT were done using an OLR clean lap. Is this event run with the OLR or just the GT5 bounds? I'm new and I don't think it was in the OP.
Yep. I think it says that any events that are organised here have to meet the OLR.
But these events were NOT organized here. They were moved here after being organized in the main GT5 forum.
What does OLR stand for, anyway?
