Doing great thanks! Work & other stuff gets in the way of GT though. But I'll try this tonight or tomorrow.

After 3 laps

Driver: PR1VATEJ0KER/PR1VATEJ0KER
Time: 7:45:904
Transmission: Manual
Controller: Wheel(DFGT)
ABS: 1
Brake Balance: 5/5

I'm pretty inexperianced on this track(around 100laps Total), will try again soon

Driver: Lambob / NobleAtreides
Time: 7:56.996 (cruising safety no ABS, & total lack of experience on sport tires)
Transmission: MT (no clutch)
Controller: wheel G25 , No power Assist, FFB 6
ABS: 0
Brake Balance: 4 / 1 (front settles nicest on 4, needs to experiment more with rear)
practiced approx 8 laps, no restarts, all red times lol except for lap 6 I think

I reallly need to stop driving on racing softs, I applaud all of you, esp who achieve better than 7:50 using these sport tires, even with ABS on. (7:31 video above, that is just cool calm and collected with a stroke of genius luck)

Having watched these videos, I am convinced there is something wrong with my game, or my PS3 or my wheel, or me, but I think it's the latter.

:) cheers, have a great day.

I didn't try with ABS on , I want to jump in cold turkey.

Fairly much on it from start to T8, but made a few mistakes from then on to the finish, although my last sector was sublime, 7'30 is reachable with incredible rhythm and commitment.

Holy crap! incredible time!

Commitment is the word! I'm always too scared to ride curbs on the Ring as I usually end up bouncing off or spinning. I suppose that's the difference between a top driver and an average one!

Watching the video really reinforces how fast guys manage to use every bit of the track - not just here, any track.

Great time! Thanks for giving it a go! Thats probably more laps than I've done of it, but still I'll be haooy if I can get any where near that time 👍

As for frontalsystem, just wow, incredible driving, pretty much flawless, this week really sorts the men from the boys! Fantastic 👍

I hope you two (and others too) can make it to drive at the Ring, it´s an awsome experience :)
Been there twice myself. Been bitten by the bug, and hope to go there next year again. Have to save up some money though, it is an expencive thing.

Great laptime SomethingGR 👍

Well done SomethingGR, especially on DS3. :)

Thanks guys 👍

Just shaved that one second off, any improvement after this should be entirely luck :P There are still one or two places where i am a bit sloppy.

Anyway, i'm happy with this if i can't improve it any further by the end of the week :)

Edit: I noticed i messed up quoting your posts guys ( looks like it's me posting ), definetely did something wrong here hehe !

Great improvement, you are really flying up the leaderboard!

Thanks !

I wish the best of luck, the Nordscleife really requires lots of practice and patience lol. If you keep trying you'll see how much time you can find.

You guys are great as well :)

Haha thanks I currently really trying to learn the ring, I am practising using the latest 650pp seasonal! That way I earn money and learn the track for later this week when I can give the tamora a real thrashing! 👍

Just put in 2 laps and managed a 7:48.xxx Cant remember what. Can improve a lot so wont post until i've got a time that is a large improvement over my last.

Also, did a random experiment, and the change time/ weather variant of the ring (when set to midday and 0% weather) is actually slower (by about a second or 2 in the TVR at least) than the regular ring... not sure how or why that is though

Just improved a tad to get in the 40's, a 7:49.939. Can see seconds of improvement still, never mind what Dan did.

Nicely done! Good luck trying to improve 👍

Wow, just wow..
Excellent laptime. I know if I try to use the hole track, I just spin out. :ouch:

Ran a couple of laps and yet again improved the time towards sub 7:50. Still a lot of places in the track to gain time :)

Great time, will be giving this a shot in the next few days to try and get sub 7:50! Well done no1pal 👍

Going to run a few more laps tonight, I can easily gain a few more seconds.

Cracking lap frontal/dholland.

By the split at around 1.25,you are nearly 2 seconds up on me and by the R8 bridge at the start of the last straight you are like 12 seconds up.

Awesome.

I love the 'ring' and its nice to see im not that far behind (relatively speaking) :)
Its just that you are using every inch of the track and are pulling about a second a sector on me

I find it hard to compare speeds as my laps are done in MPH as opposed to KMPH.
Any chance you can do a MPH lap?

@numbnuts70 - I hope you don't mind, I've borrowed your post and applied it to me.

My first clean lap was almost a whole minute behind this at around 8:25, second clean lap was 8:06 (out of about 5 laps in total). The top time currently on my leaderboard is the EXA Canopy LA version with an 8:03:dopey:

On the plus side, the Tamora is a revelation - I've never used it before. It's fast, stable and well balanced on the SH tyres; perfectly at home on the Nordscheife. Is it really a TVR?

Hopefully I'll get the chance to do a few more laps and post a slightly more respectable official time.

Great lap, quite useful for me to see where slight increases of momentum will really add up to make a massive difference to my times, it's almost funny how much difference small changes will make here. I can't be quite so smooth using the buttons, but what I'm doing doesn't look wildly different.

I can see quite a few places where my exits or apex speeds aren't as fast because my line on the entry isn't conducive to it, accelerating in exactly the same manner pushes me into understeer so I have to back off more. Would you mind posting your sector times FS?; from the begining of the lap down to Adenauer Forst looks very similar, I think most of my time is going in the second half of the lap.

Does anyone know if there's a way to see a list of sector times as you can in spectator mode? I'm sure even GT2 had that.

Another fabulous lap dan 👍 we should make you go on comfort hards to make it fair for the rest of us  but seriously fantastic driving! Gonna give this and the WDSC a proper go on friday, because I am away until then, and have been grinding a spec seasonal for the last few days :) want to get under 2:05 in WDSC, and under 7:45 in the FDSC :)

Anybody got any good ideas for week 6 WDSC car/track/tyre combo? Cheers.

380RS Super Leggera at Autumn Ring on SM (or SH)

Or, how about something with less power?

RX7 Spirit R at Madrid on SH
Renaultsport Megane or Golf GTI somewhere on CM

Or even, Camaro SS in heavy rain at Monza (100%/100%) on SH :D The weight means it's not too difficult to handle. I think 0 changeability will ensure the surface water level won't drop/change, although I'm not totally sure.

A little premature but I've also got a suggestion for the next fortnight, la Sarthe, not sure which version or in which car though.

Great ideas, will definetly consider them! Thanks!

Thanks guys;) With regards to the splits, I won't be able to reveal them as I won't be able to access the PS3 for about 3 weeks, have fun gents;)

No problem, we might have a chance to get top of the leaderboard in the next weeks!
