ok, i'm at about 700 now on the vigilante missions... how far should i go? i'm taking a break now and might not play any more tonight, but i'm debating on how far i should go with it... what is the highest vigilante mission anyone has ever heard someone getting? i'm kinda curious... i've got plenty of time on my hands

Wow nice job. The highest I've gotten was around lvl 124. Killed 1000+ criminals. I would have gone further but it was 3am and I was very tired.

OVER 1000 LEVELS! That's very much over lots of hours of play...It's like a continous full day of play!

i think to 700 it took about 2-3 hours... so 1000 shouldn't be that much longer... so far i have paused it twice, once around 200 something to spend time with my fiance (can't forget her ) and once to sleep... i just took my only exam for the day, so i have many hours of playing ahead of me

god damnit... i think i'm going to cry.. i unpaused the game to go for the 1024 and the game froze!!! i didn't even get to kill one more criminal..... and i get credit for none of it.... no 227k criminal rating, no maxed out money... i think i may need counseling...

The most i got was around the 350 mark then i decided to quit ..I won't be trying to better that took long enough

But on yourself ma man if ye want to go for it do it but once your money maxes out your CR goes up very very slowly around 4/5 points per kill on Vigilantie mode not worth it really..

I hate using the tank. It's nearly impossible at the strat of Vigilante because of how slow it moves.

I just turn the turret around ..Gives you hyper drive

I had a tank in my garage at sunshine autos, saved it, mucked around for an hour, came back and it was gone . It's not all that hard to get it back though, why do the guys get out of the tanks anyway?

To either:
a) Attack you with their machine guns
b) Enforce a roadblock

I like to snipe them from the second floor of Sunshine Autos though

Yeah, thats where I get them, that way you can drive them straight into your garages..

Yes, although it's really hard to get other cars, because the cops like to shoot the car's tires out.

You just got to stay relaxed and you should eventually get it to your garage, but I get into the pay and spray first, get rid of my stars..

The Barracks OL is bar none the hardest, because of the fact that just when I get to the ramp a tank rear ends me and kills me.

Molotovs + Fireproof Capabilities are a good way of cleaning out all the cops on the bottom floor of Sunshine Autos. Ruger or M4 does the job for cleaning out the cars and cops you can see.

Yes, i use the sniper rifle @ fast reload to get rid of approaching cops, and molotovs thrown around on the second floor do get rid of cops...unfortunately sometimes there are cars under that blow up!

Well, there isn't really a need for fast reload when using the PSG-1, which is one of personal favourites.

if you want it to get high use the trick where you do the virgilante missions in the airport (a little away from the roads) and then the criminals will spawn at the same location every time... (saw it in a forum, maybe it was this, maybe another, can't remember) !!!! try it !!!
