The Vikings managed to win again today, and in typical Vike's fashion they made sure to give us a close game that they almost threw away.:nervous:

And for the current discussion, along with the Vikings I have cheered for the Texans since 2002, still haven't figured out why.

I hate it how people think I'm a Florida sports fan when I say I live in Florida.

I can never turn on my Chicago teams (besides baseball, I don't really care much for it.)

Ditka > Romney.

Anybody > Romney

In all seriousness, Ditka was a amazing coach, we would've loved him in Steel-Town.

I've been a Jets fan my entire life as I grew up in the area, but I've already been deemed as an "annoying fan" by Quack so I guess my roots are meaningless .

Cheer up; at least your not a Eagles fan.

I didn't know Steelers fans were so sensitive. Blitz never gets upset when we go back and forth.

You started it. You sure can dish but can't take ;).

My friend is banking on another two pick sixes by the Bear's D.

If it does happen again, I'll have to put this D tied against the 2005 and 2006 teams for strength. That Tampa-2 is really doing wonders.

The D is the team, if people wonder where Baltimore and Pittsburgh are now, its in Chicago again.

Holy salty Quackjack, batman!

Omnis you gotta watch out for that teenage-angst/NFL-fan-machismo when they are combined!

Bears are always defense first. And I'm glad they are stubborn to conform to the NFL's wishes to make this into an even more offensive oriented game.

I'm more worried about Urlacher's fitness than anything else. It's sad seeing Urlacher's best being more of a memory now.

The offense will get there's though, unlike any of the Bears from 85 til now.

Agreed. I prefer a defensive game more than an offensive one.

Lions at Bears TONIGHT!

Tonight is all about the NFC North as the Lions of MoTown will clash with some Bears in Chi-Town. These two are ready for tonight... are you? Who do you have winning this one- the Detroit Lions or the Chicago Bears (CHI favored by 6)?

The book keepers are giving the Lions too much credit.

They barely beat the teams they were supposed to, and lost to one's they shouldn't have with the roster they got. And they are up against a defense that has a knack for turnovers and an offense that is showing signs of aptitude for the first time in over 25 years. And it's at Soldier Field, where the grass in not kind to the visitor. This Lion's team is hobbled by injuries too may I add.

I say Bears by 24. The Chicago Ditka's didn't forget Stafford's cute little hit on Moore, and Suh's forearm and helmet rip to Cutler.

I know in Football that any team can win on any game day, but I'm also a believer in probabilities and statistics.

The only argument the Lion's have in their favor is their defensive line (really slight though) and Calvin Johnson.

I'm sure that the Bears offensive line will be ready to play tonight, the Lions seemingly sometimes over aggressive defense will get burned. The Forte running game should give Cutler some more room to make throws, when he has time he can be a very good qb.

Will we see the good Matt Stafford or the one that throws a bunch of picks? Just have to wait and watch.

My prediction?

Bears win by at least 2 touchdowns.

And yes, a defense first team is rare these days, good to see Chicago still has that philosophy 👍

I just found out Chicago plays a total of 3 Monday Nights this year.

Is that unusual?

I don't think it is, then again I really only watch the Redskins and Bills (because a lot of people like them here) games  so someone more qualified should probably answer that.

Bears are about the W, ESPN are about the highlights.:P

That's why ESPN hates Chicago. Even ESPN Chicago hates Chicago.

Don't worry, ESPN New York makes a mockery of the Mets and immortalizes the Yankees.

Bears are so underrated it's disgusting. Same with the Giants *do they ever get the credit they deserve?*. I say Bears by 14 tonight.

Bears offense was ugly beyond any Cutler-Marshall plays and a few runs by Forte and Bush. Like I said before with Chicago: defense first. Beyond that garbage time TD, Lions were stifled for the most part.

That said, really glad Tillman showed up Calvin Johnson and Cutler escapes from injury.:scared:

13-7 may not look impressive, but 5-1 does.👍

I remember in 2008 a group made a picture of black McCain and white Obama, it was similarly unsettling.

Obama is half white...

McCain actually was decent, other than Palin.

Off topic- Good job by the Bears, solid win!

HYPED for the Redskins@Steelers fan game. Since 60% of everyone here is a Redskins fan (Dad and many friends included) it will be awesome, since I'm one of the few Steelers fans here. Funny thing is, the next most popular team might actually be the Cowboys (or Patriots).

Hopefully my team can steal the win :P

They can if: Morris can keep going, RG3 can outshine the Steelers pass D and they can contain the Steelers WR's. I say 28-20 Steelers.

Nice job by the Bucs. Nice choke by the Vikes.

Hope the Bears don't sleep on the Panthers. Tillman does not match up well with Steve Smith, though I'm sure Jennings will get that assignment.

20 - 17 Redskins in OT

That would be a very nice win.

I see both offenses doing well, however the Steelers defense will clamp down at the key time RG3 needs to make plays.

Suisham will kick a game winning field goal from 40+ yards for Pittsburgh and steal the win.

Final will be 27-24 Pittsburgh
