Started Brady and benched San Fran's D on my fantasy team. Lololol!

28 point lead and the 49ers can't hold it. That's borderline pathetic to be honest.

They managed to beat Tom Brady in Foxborough in December.

That's playoff caliber stuff.

If you would take out all the dropped passes and turnovers the patriots had, then... I truly thought that the patriots would beat the 49ers by atleast 10 points. Well, after that horrible first half...

Jets at Titans TONIGHT!

The Jets will soar their way into Nashville to take on the Titans. TEN has been long eliminated from playoff contention, but the Jets still have an extremely minimal playoff chance. So this is obviously must-win for NYJ. Must-win and LOTS of help. They can only hope not to hear chin music when the Jets head into Music City.

Put on a good show, NYJ and TEN...

Compared to other teams still in its not as bad.

New York wins out + 1 Pittsburgh loss or tie and 1 Cincinnati loss. Yesterday could not have been any better for New York. If Cincinnati lost this past Thursday then all the Jets would have needed to do is win out and Cincinnati beat Pittsburgh.

That was the Patriots fault for digging their own graves. The 49rs at least took care of business when it counted.

Like that drive in the fourth that was only two plays? The Pats corners looked like JV out there.

I wonder whether Baltimore or New England is my team's (Denver's) best shot at a first round bye.I guess I should root for the pats to lose, wait... I already do that!

Both!

I guess that answers that. I don't know why I didn't realize I needed both to lose when I wrote that, but it was certainly nice of them to step out of the way.

All the Broncos have to do is take care of business with the Browns and Chiefs. Should be do-able, despite the fact that either of those teams can be dangerous when they put their mind to it.

I did the opposite - started Kappy and benched New England.

It's always nice when you can have a 1st year starter outscore the leader QB in FFB. Matty Ice gave me 22 points from the bench but RallyKap brought me 25. :sly:

49ers had a bunch of missed opportunities, too. Four times the ball was fumbled at the snap, Vernon Davis missed a long TD by his fingertips, etc, etc.

Missed chances for both teams.

Really impressive night by Kaepernick.

For sure, four snap fumbles is concerning but its all growing pains for this offense. Heck, it was raining cats and dogs in Foxboro and Ridley knew all too well about that.

Only concern for San Francisco is perhaps their kicker. David Akers isn't in quite as bad a slump as Mason Crosby but heck 39-yard field goals should be peanuts for him.

Truly regret dumping Kaepernick in Fantasy haha.

....
Missed chances for both teams.

Yes, definitely agree. But, if there would be no missed opportunities for either team, I think we know who would win. But, I think that it's very hard to get no missed opportunities throughout an entire game, so what teams do is try and get the least missed opportunities possible.

I do not think we know who would win at all. New England's defense is average. Their running game can be very good. New England is not some all conquering, unbeatable team. However, they are very well coached and have an all time great quarterback. Those two go a long way, but by no means are those enough to guarantee a win. I think their last two attempts at winning the Super Bowl fully put that on display.

Oh well, Jets seem to love to have Sanchez throw the ball and get it picked.

"It's 1st down? In the red zone? Lots of time left? Hail mary into triple coverage!" The mind of Mark Sanchez
EDIT: Can't even catch a snap

Oh well, here's proof that Sanchez has no more chances. 4 straight disgusting performances. Bench him, get rid of the GM's involvement and draft a QB.

Or a better idea: Use the 3rd string QB who can actually throw the ball and isn't prone to throwing the ball to the other team.

I'd rather sign a new qb that's a better game manager. Or have Mcelroy who is a better game manger while Tebow is involved more. Or draft Geno Smith or some very high prospect QB. But they need to trade Sanchez as I believe they can get good value for him.

If the value you are looking for is a half eaten bag of chips then yes they could get something for him.

The Jets needed to win this one to keep playoff hopes alive, and... they failed. It was 14-10 as the New York Jets took some chin music in Music City courtesy of the Titans. Any playoff hope has been killed off thanks to this loss by the Jets. I think the Jets will finish the season with hosting San Diego next week followed by a trip to Buffalo the week after.

Here is what needs to happen for the Dolphins to make the playoffs ...

1. Dolphins win vs. Buffalo AND at New England

AND

2a. Jets lose at Tennessee AND vs. San Diego OR 2b. Jets lose at Buffalo

AND

3. Bengals lose at Pittsburgh AND vs. Baltimore

AND

4. Steelers win vs. Cincinnati AND lose vs. Cleveland

DIE JETS! DIE CINCY! GO CLEVELAND!

Dolphins punter Brandon Fields threw one pass--20 yards out of bounds--and had a higher passer rating this week (39.6) than Mark Sanchez (32.6). LOOOOL!

A LOT of quotes coming up now.

Have you heard Stephen A. Smith tounge-lash the Jets and the Titans? Dude just straight up killed the Jets. Here are some Tweets from Stephen A. Smith regarding the NYJ at TEN game last night:

"it's absolutely fitting that the Jets lost the game this way. Stupid INT by Sanchez. Botched shotgun snap b/t an experienced center and QB."

"This is what happens when you ignore your offense and rely on gimmicks/winning headlines to solidify your stature in NFL. Pathetic Fiasco."

I then looked on the Jets' Facebook fan page. One Facebook fan said, "Please stop sucking." Here's a Rex Ryan quote after last night's loss:

"Obviously that's a devastating loss. Out of the playoffs and it hurts beyond belief... We have two games left... we'll give it everything we have."

-Rex Ryan

Needless to say, the Jets are a mess. Enjoy this penultimate week of the regular season, and good luck to all teams still in the hunt.

I think the Jets would be alright if they had anyone else but Sparano. That guy needs to go coach Division 3 college ball. Rex Ryan is still a good head coach and an extraordinary defensive coordinator, but you can't hire someone like Meatball Sparano and expect success. The guy is a QB's worst nightmare. Ruins careers.

Ryan is a DC it seems now. Whoever signed off on Tebow AND Sparano needs a lobotomy.

Sparano had a raging hard-on for Tebow. For crying out loud, we had a GATOR DAY at the stadium because the Tebroncos were in town. It was pathetic, and an insult to the fans of the U that also call that stadium home.

If we get rid of Sparano maybe he can start his own NFL team. The Terrible Tebows!
