i cant wait to try it now lol. i wish it had more cars. no cars from honda... i would like to have a nice honda s2000 or nsx... one of my fav cars. i wish EA would release free car expansion packs for the game... but thats never gonna happen :(

I believe that decision was by Honda. Nissan was the same, but apparently, they've returned. Honda is showing how much they don't want to be part of street racing scene.

But I feel your pain. I would have loved to beat the game with a NSX. Maybe...EA will have more DLC?

Honda didn't wanna be in Most Wanted or Carbon because they didn't want to be associated with car chases. It was the same with Nissan in MW, but they returned I assumed because of the drifting that was also in the Underground series.

I don't think that it's possible. and believe me, I'd use that feature if I could. all that hip hop yo yo mad tyte jdm-rap makes me sick.

how do i put my own music in carbon?
I don't know if this still works (it did in NFSU2):

1) Turn off all the music in-game
2) Use a music player that doesn't use up RAM (foobar2000 or WinAmp should do)
3) Play music in said player
4) Launch Carbon and enjoy your choons!

The only problem I see with this method is that you won't be able to pause the music during cutscenes. If you want to pause the music, you'd have to hook up an mp3 player to some speakers...

More pics added to my original post, can't wait to win/buy the GT40. It has got to be one of my #1 favorite cars of all time.

Anyways....

wawawehwa!!! you insult my intelligence!!! i like listen to sexytime music, but not during cutscenes. this is why i ask for.... how you say.... uh... importer or something like this. I like? you like? yes?

K..

Well anyways - I really dig this game. I've only been able to play it for about an hour so far, but I do believe I'm hooked.

I'll tell you, while the GT series and other realistic driving similars hold their own, there is something to be said for arcade-style, straight-out, fast driving games. The NFS series is the best of that breed.

Graphics are nice, too.

if I would be evil, I'd buy GT40 right now, paint it pink and put the worst looking bodykit on it, accompanied with mint green chrome rims. but I'm not.. though, I've already riced a Supra and a GT-R and I got spasms from doing so, even though it's just a game. but dear god, some of those bodykits would look good only in the eyes of chavs.. :ill:

Exactly! Just good, clean, fast driving.... :)

Just two questions......

1) Where is a fast free sever to download this demo from because EA is really slow?

2) I know this is out on PS2 but will it be out for PS3 or is there a totally new game in the pipeline for that?

Anyone have any easy ways to earn money once you get to the last race? I've spent all my money on the Lambo that just doesn't cut it. The 350z is said to be much better but I need quite a bit more money. Any ideas or perfect Lambo settings?

i dunno personally... but in previous nfs games, i'd just go back to a really short race that gave out alot of money and do that over and over. prefferably checkpoint or sprint.

i've pretty much stopped playing lfs becuase my dfp is broken... so i'm just playing this game for now :P. cant wait to get g25. :D

I has little buttons on my keyboard that pause 'n stuff pour moi.

I did use GT-R in the last races, more nimble in corners and faster than Elise, but not much. now I'm doing career with muscle cars only.

because you're comparing it to GT4. and that's comparing apples and oranges. compare it into Flatout 2 or the likes of that, and then you're in same ballpark.

This is not my favorite NFS game my any stretch of the imagination, but the visuals are nice and I've gotten some fun out of it, so it's accomplished what I wanted it to. ;)

yeah.. nothing is more fun than humiliating Lamborghinis with a '70 Charger R/T with huge blower sticking out of it's hood..

how long did you play it? 5 minutes? you have to give it a chance before judging it.
That's true. 10, 15 min. I'm a hardcore simmer so I don't like games like that. It's a personal thing, can't help it. :)
