Anyone have any easy ways to earn money once you get to the last race? I've spent all my money on the Lambo that just doesn't cut it. The 350z is said to be much better but I need quite a bit more money. Any ideas or perfect Lambo settings?

That's true. 10, 15 min. I'm a hardcore simmer so I don't like games like that. It's a personal thing, can't help it.

I play sims too, but sometimes it's nice to play something that's fun and easy to get into.

Hey i got CARBON a week ago, and ive finished it already, its an awsum game but its a lil short..now im ready to play online. But the the thing is that i cant, does anyone know how to? And how did you guy gets the koenesigg
(or however u spell it..sorry) It seems like im missing alot of cars, like the 240sx etc.

The Koenigsegg is only available in quick race in the collector's edition (unless you edit your gamesave) and the 240SX is unlocked by completing a challenge in the challenge series.

Thanks for the tip, I ended up finishing it with a Evolution I had sitting in the garage. I was able to pass Darius on the second chicane and held it. Didn't realize how many quick races their were to complete as well... so I guess I'm sitll not quite done.

I had a look at both the PS2 and PC versions. It looks to be a good game, but I'll pass the PS2 one. The graphic is just not good enough.

and if you want good drifter, get Z06 'vette. or, actually, any american car. they're made for those competitions.

edit: okay, time for top speeds.. Shelby Cobra GT500, 246.6mph, and it still aint fully modded..

I've just bought this game for the PS2 and have also played it for PC, and I'm pretty impressed with it. It's certainly not the best of the series though. I'd like to know why they haven't found some way of combining day races and night races yet. Racing only during the night gives me the s***s as you can't see the surroundings clearly (one of the reasons I love playing NFSMW still).

And they could lose the canyon drifting too. I wish they made a better range of city tracks to slide around instead. I can't wait until the day someone finds a way to modify the tracks.

Its usually your computer. If its crap, say goodbye to the demo.

You gotta check the error message it gives you. Like my PC, it is decent but GPU is crap.

It just has the totally unhelpful 'NFS_C demo.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close... we're sorry if you were in the middle of something... send us an error report.'

The error report just said the application name and time.

Man, the NFSMW demo and NFSUG2 full game worked, at least, they were just slow.

I don't know if this still works (it did in NFSU2):

1) Turn off all the music in-game
2) Use a music player that doesn't use up RAM (foobar2000 or WinAmp should do)
3) Play music in said player
4) Launch Carbon and enjoy your choons!

The only problem I see with this method is that you won't be able to pause the music during cutscenes. If you want to pause the music, you'd have to hook up an mp3 player to some speakers...

Winamp has global hot keys that work from any app. Just set them up and bind them, its how I have played my own music in a variety of games. If you keyboard has media keys that you can remap, you can map the keys to be the same required for the global hotkeys. Should let you pause and skip music from anywhere in teh game, period.

That kit's to ricey for my tastes, I love the rims and the color and the nice, suttle flames add that nice touch to it. 👍

This game fully supports the G25 aswell including clutch and H-gate! Even on PS2! To get the truebo and mr2 and all the other cars etc(about 60)You have to finish everything including the reward cards Which involves filing your garage with only tuners, filling your garage with only muscle, filling your garage with only exotic, having a balance of $1,000,000 etc. Near impossible, but ive nearly done it

I played Carbon on Xbox 360 for a full two hours at the local superstre a few days back. It was a really cool game, especially in widescreen and enhanced definition. I don't really like the drifting in this game though, the car went out of control too many times. NFSU 2 still rocks.

Wow, this is sad. I beat the storyline in around 2.5 hours. I still have career races to finish, but the storyline is finished. I beat Darius in the Canyon race by about 15 points

lol it is pretty short and easy, i just finshed beating it in a STOCK RX7 i won from Kenji, i did need to buy a murcialago though to beat darius but only becouse i had reached my $1,000,000 goal, and filled my garage with all three classes.

what, passing darius? oh that's easy! on the canyon duel, if that's what you mean, there a big long left hander which darius will slow down for. Drive around the outside of him as it is faster. i did it in my evo and beat him then and there

First corner. In a muscle car.

I'm now redoing career with tuners and exotics.

The Zonda sounds amazing, but still isn't a nice as in real life.

Keep in mind, the DB9 is fat and has poor acceleration.

I've tuned a Nissan Skyline for drifting. It looks (and drifts) amazingly!







I love King's Park drift course. Best of them all.
