I've asked this a couple times and gotten very vague answers.. it almost seems that while many people have the DFP, none of them have NFS:U2. And vice versa.

Surely someone has both, and can give the rest of us a definitive answer? :)

Right now, I'm still on the fence about buying the game.. And it seems to be hinging on whether I can drive 900 with the DFP.

I have both but haven't tried using the wheel. My wheel is exclusively for GT3 and GT4. I highly doubt that NFSU2 supports 900 degree mode, but it may be possible to unlock it by the same means people ahve done it for GT3.
As far as buying the game. I say go for it. It's not that bad and it's pretty fun. I love the engine sounds. I just like driving around full throttle letting that engine roar, ****ing awesome.

Well, people haven't "unlocked" anything in GT3.. the game doesn't support 900, period.

The problem is, I've had a taste of 900, in the Toyota GT4 demo. After that, I just can't go back to the cheesy 200, you know? :)

Yeah, you can use 900 in NFSU. It's actually alot of fun, my girlfriend usually pops in NFSU:2, throws on 900, and drives around the streets like a good samariton.

You can use your dfp with nfsu2 it works great. It changes feedback depending on the cars speed ex. if you drive below 30 the wheel is easy to turn.its just like a real car.nfsu2 is the best game that the defp responds according to speed ,setting,
and car.

I'm sorry to say but NFS is arcade so it is much easier to play with keyboard then with a steering wheel.

Its the opposite of GTR or LFS (where you have to have a steering wheel or it sucks)
