Speaking of ricers. I got a Fast and Furious Supra 1/24th scale in my closet. I should burn it and make a video of it. Then, I'll go buy NFS:U and NFS:U2 project paperwork to the stash of flames.

The game looks good imo. The bodykits are way OTT. They look like the WB kits from NFSU, but mental this time. The idea of open plan cities is a nice one. I'm looking forward to this.
 
The Underground series put a bad name on NFS. The first Hot Pursuit was teh r0x0rz. The 2nd hot pursuit was a disappointment because of the cops behaviour modelling. The underground series? Way too arcade, too much lights, the traffic sucked, the sense of overwhelming speed was ridiculous and the fact that you had to overtune your car took the last good things from the game.

Your comments are welcome as you put it across sensibly and don't spam. And don't say "your thread". You know it's not. I'm just annoyed because this is the only source for this game at GTP and it's getting screwed up by two kids.

There are some people who like NFS:U, if you don't like it, here's a quarter call someone who cares. Geez, since you hate NFS:U so much Darin, why don't you leave the people who like it alone? Actually I gotta say that I think that those bodykits look over the top. And this although I'm a MAXPOWER reader! *lol* But nonetheless I look forward to the game and its possibilities.

Has anyone played Tokyo Xtreme Racer? Do you know if the racing (i.e. flashing cars to signal race) is going to be similar in any way?
 
I hope so i have wanted that game since it first came out but it has never come out here in ****y old New Zealand.GGGGRR!!!!!

This thread reminds me of the PGR2 thread , same thing (some people hates the game and some likes it) . Well I'll leave all of you alone then. I just wanted to say : This is the worst racing series ever made by EA games.
 
I think juiced will be better in some aspects like day time,and underground 2 will be better in others like free roam.Im goin to buy both anyway so whocares.

1. The only bad thing about it was that I didn't know who you were until I suddenly was on your site some months later and then GTP. :lol:

2. I think, or better said hope, that they have it, like TXR. And if not then it will be pretty sure like Midnight Club, where you flash your opponents and follow them and then at some point it starts loading and then you are doing a race.

And now I just saw that video... Was that really an Escalade? :lol: *rofl* This game will be so good! I can't wait. I only can hope that the online possibilities will stay as they are in NFS:U now (like PS2 versus PC) and they improve the online chat lobby etc.

Mmmm Burnout 3, is gonna roc. God-dammit, this next term of uni is just gonna be a big PS2 fest. GT4, GTA:SA, Burnout 3, NFSU2... Lordy.
