Nick Hogan in Serious Car Accident

Hulk Hogan's son, Nick, was seriously injured in a car accident tonight in Clearwater, Fla.

Law enforcement tells TMZ the accident occurred around 7:31 PM ET. According to police, a Toyota Supra, driven by Nick Bollea (Hogan's real name), was traveling at a very high rate of speed when it lost control and hit a raised median. The car was flipped around and the back end hit a palm tree. The impact, we're told, "destroyed the entire car." The two male occupants were flown by Medivac helicopter from the accident scene to a hospital in St. Petersburg. We're told both men had "very very serious" injuries.

The accident happened on Court Street, a main drag in downtown Clearwater, causing the entire street to be shut down for hours.

No 911 call was made to police. The accident was called in by an officer who rolled up right after the crash happened.

UPDATE: Nick Hogan is reportedly in serious condition, but the passenger in the car sustained more severe injuries. He is listed in critical condition.

That seems to be the case with the people that didn't EARN the money. I think that's a difference. Granted not 100%, but certainly for the most part.

From what they show on TV, it looks like Hulk's children are incredibly airheaded (and spoiled). They must get it from their mother, because Mr. Hogan seems to have a decent head on his shoulders, and acts like a parent most of the time.

We've been waiting for this to happen for years over on supraforums.com where Nick frequently posts. The kid is an idiot, plain and simple. He drinks underage all the time and brags about it while posting pictures of himself doing it. He got a speeding ticket two weeks ago for something like 84 in a 45mph zone - wasn't wearing a seatbelt. Last week he was seen leaving a car meet sideways in traffic in his yellow Viper.

The worst part of all this? His friend, the 22 year old Iraqi war veteran, is either going to die or be a vegetable for the rest of his life.

Actually the worst part is his friends are all saying he wasn't racing his buddies that were driving his silver Viper next to him, yet witnesses all say he was. Way to cover up for the irresponsible idiot.

I hope the family of John sue Nick and his family for all they're worth, and win. I also hope Nick spends a lot of time in jail.

Irresponsible jackass.

Jessica Barton, his girlfriend, a member of supraforums for 4 years + posted on sf.com herself saying his buddies were driving his Viper next to him at the time, but of course she says they weren't racing.

One source also said he was driving a Lamborghini Diablo, and one said an SUV. He was involved in a mishap with a Lambo, but it simply caught on fire while he was driving it. He never wrecked it. SUV? No.

Stay cool, I didn't say you were in the same class as Nick Hogan... I was simply trying to point out that calling people "stupid" at a time where they have nearly killed theselves isn't always the best choice.

Turns out he hit a puddle, and lost control. It had nothing to do with the fact that he's 17 in a 650rwhp Supra most likely racing a Viper. At least according to his friends.

He's had several tickets lately. 115 in a 70, and 106 in a 70. but, of course, he wasn't doing anything wrong this time! It was that darned puddle!

He has more cars. He has that green Supra with 910+hp that's getting the motor rebuilt. That yellow Supra had over 700hp, by the way. He also has a 450hp '95 240sx, a silver '03 Viper, and a yellow/black '06 Viper.

He got the Supra(s) at 15. Supposedly he paid for the Vipers with his own money from sponsors and drifting, but I don't know. Either way at 17 his parents could have, and should have, put their foot down and stopped him, but in the end they didn't and are probably regretting it now.
