what's all the group c cars in the game anyways? i can only name the following..

r89
r92
minolta
787
jaguar xjr
sauber c9

what class are the bentley, toyota GT1, and R10 etc..? are they jus called le mans or something?

I am pretty sure that the Bentley and co are in the class LMP. (sorry if I am wrong)

Well, since the Group C got abandoned they are all LMPs but Bently Speed 8 was a continuation in LMGTP class where things like GT-One, CLR LM, R391 were in. V12 LMR was an open-cockpit one and I couldn't remember which class it was in, Le Mans rules change was very frequent those years. R10 TDi & 908 are classed as LMP1. And we don't have any LMP2s.
And Peugeot 905 is another Group C.
I could be wrong though...Relying on my childhood memo.

thats quite a difference in Hp, im assuming he's entered stock values only in his list.

strange that a high rpm turbo adds a measly 20 to 30Hp on the R92
and that the R89 gains almost 90Hp

if the above is true, im curious...are restrictions to blame, or is that just the way the 92 inherently is?

R92CP should have got a better one according to the description shown in GT5 if you look close to it, I'm pretty sure it mentions a figure above 1100PS, and it says it reached something like 249mph on the Fuji long straight and it's still gaining momentum blah blah blah..💡

Dude the R92 is a great car no doubt at all was in fact also my go to for any thing I did requiring c class performance that is until the day I happened to splurge and bought myself the SRT vision car the (S) model or 1st one to be more specific and let me tell you I wish I'd have gotten that 1 mill dollar money factory much sooner it is actually broken if I am honest like the car should have it's PP much higher than it does because it runs a very similar lap time on nearly any track as the Gran Turismo F1 car it is slightly YES ONLY SLIGHTLY slower than the F1 and is actually quicker on some tracks yet has over 150 less PP than the F1 which means u get to take it in any C class event and I promise u will dominate either yourself or even in B-spec mode your driver will destroy any race u put him in with the tomahawk S and it's around 745-750pp fully upgraded but u can also downtime and limit it's power to get it into 650pp or less races as well and IT STILL KICKS SO MUCH ASS like I said it should realistically be around 840-850PP that would be more accurate since it's nearly as fast as or faster on most tracks than an F1 car and yes it handles like an F1 and so needless to say handles better than ALL OF THE OTHER C CLASS STYLE CARS it handles better and is faster than everything else in the game apart from it's big bros the tomahawk x and the mid range and apart from the F1 cars which it's about matched evenly against and will destroy any F1 car on the test course track top speed is far above any F1 so any track with a super long straight it will actually out pace any F1 I sht u not as I said it's broken u can essentially buy yourself a F1 performance level vehicle disguised as a class c for half the price or less of ALL other class c vehicles lmao try it and then tell me I was wrong bet u come back saying where tf was this car my whole career haha it will dominate with ease any c class event or championship as well as any 650Pp or less event and another perk is it is considered a ""REGULAR CAR""again not even kidding so yea also enter it in the "regular car only"races and again absolutely dominate the Minolta the r92cp the sauber benz none can hold a candle to the tomahawk S which costs half as much as most of those do haha smh broken polyphony missed sum on this one that car should show 840PP all day but glad it don't made career mode a cake walk for me I can also start a b spec race ANY B SPEC RACE I LIKE and then leave my house and know with full confidence that I won that race and will see first place when I come back have zero doubt and that's absolutely ANY RACE ON THE GAME
I've got the Sauber C9, the Minolta-Toyota, the R89 and the R92. I like them all, but the R92 tends to be my "go-to" for things like GT All-Stars and Dream Car Championship runs, as well as the LeMans 24 Hours. I recently picked up the Jag XJR-9, but haven't had a chance to run it yet. All of the Group C cars are just fantastic, but the R92 is my personal favorite. I've put over 12,000 miles on mine!

Save your money instead spend 1mill on a vision

SRT tomahawk S it will destroy any c class on the game with little effort in fact is more fuel efficient and has a hybrid nitro boost ability that is infinite using the nitrous button
You do realise you've resurrected a 12 year old thread about GT5 to mention a car that wasn't in this game 😉.

The Tommahawk first appeared in GT6. There were no Vision GT cars in GT5, though you could argue the Citroen GT was a precursor to that programme.
