Nissan announced they are going to completley redesign the concept so you'll be happy to know that it wont look like that 
since this is where all the skyline nuts are, i was wondering if anyone could answer my lil noobie-ish question, wtf does the BNR stand for in bnr34 and why is the r33 called brn or was it bcn? or bcnr?? haha im so lost. if this is posted before somewhere my bad but its always baffled me a bit =] cheers in advance and thanks for those dvd rips dude! totally awesome

No one really knows, not even Sean Morris. I'll try and find out, I'll ask a guy I know in japan. Oh and another little tidbit. the RB in RB26DETT does NOT stand for racebreed or whatever bull crap they are telling you online. Ok got it!
The first letter is engine capacity
B = 2600cc
N = AWD
C= Hicas, this is only for the R33 because the Japanese government decided they'd have a letter for 4 wheel steering after the 32 came out. They later decided it was pointless before the 34 came out. Thats why only the R33 has the C
The rest is just the chassis code R34, R33, R32 etc.

I agree that it should be all Skylines not just GT-R, but with that said then the Infiniti G35 (Nissan Skyline) would be in it too.
