You SHOULD work for the 20 million cars and 1.3 million per 25 minutes seems fair. It would be stupid if you could get a 20 million car for half an hour racing.
I am not talking about getting 20 million car in half an hour of racing. I am talking about prize credits it is not good enough and it dose not make that appealing to players if you spend and hour or two a day on this game. And remember some people do have a life.

I work a high-availability IT job, have 2 kids, a wife that works nights and I get along fine. With two separate accounts even.

Are the prize winnings perfectly balanced for everyone? Certainly not. But I think people need to adjust their expectations. Clearly the game is not complete. We aren't even at two months yet. Remember the sharing features of GT5 that are missing in GT6? How about all those social features hyped before release? My opinion is that those have been left out intentionally to force people to work through the game at a decent pace. Are you going to have enough credits to buy all the cars and finish everything? Probably not.

And frankly that's how it should be. If Kaz and PD expect GT6 to take on a similar life to other titles they can't give everyone everything right at the start. Would you keep playing GT6 if there wasn't something to look forward to? If it were going to be the same 3 years from now would you even know where the disc is in 3 months? GT does not follow the FPS gaming model, it follows the MMORPG model.

TLDR, patience. Expect to earn what you want. Nothing in life is any different.

@BMWcrazy that's actually a really good idea. Not all of them of course but if they added TTs or races in the seasonals where the car was provided and there was a challenge to get gold it'd be nice to get some of the crazy expensive cars as gifts. 👍

When you said Are the prize winnings perfectly balanced for everyone? Certainly not. that's what I am talking about perfectly balanced credits for each race so players do not have to do concentrate on one race for hours and hours of grinding and if players have not got a lot of time to play GT6 and the credits are very good it will make it very appealing to players 👍.

The point is that this will never happen. It cannot. Ever.

@zujca and I think that things are balanced the way they are. Probably many others as well. You and many others say it's too little. others still may think, crazy as you will think it sounds, credit payout is too high. Nobody is wrong. We all have a different idea of balance and Polyphony cannot make all of us happy. So they must do what they think is best and in my opinion they are pretty close. To satisfy those who want more they have bonuses from time to time. That's about as close as you'll get to satisfying the greatest number of people.

I was a raid tank in EverQuest (VAH WAR FTW) and World of Warcraft for a dozen years or more. Over all those years balance never happened. WoW got close but there are always those who are not happy with the way things are. Another fact of life. Can't change it so deal with it the best you can. And I think PD has.

Hey DigitalBaka at the moment a lot of players are not enjoying this game because of this and for grinding for credits and all they get is few peanuts and of course the game is messed up. And DigitalBaka have a nice day.

Be specific. What is good enough in your opinion? Gran turismo is a casual game, the expensive cars take a while to buy whether you grind or not. If it were much faster the game would be too short and too easy.

As the thread said No Big Payouts Anymore. Good luck grinding then and you say expensive cars take a while to buy and you will be still grinding in 2016 if the credits stay the same and you have only and hour or two to play and let me know how you get on at the end of 2016 .

I have over 60 million credits worth of cars. some of the seasonal events paid out quite a bit. I am a full time student at a university and have many other interrests which constitute this "life" you say grinding must deprive you from. Its not hard to make money or buy nice cars without spending too much time. if you dont like it you dont have to play. But it is most certainly not unfair or unreasonable.

When you said Its not hard to make money or buy nice cars without spending too much time. Is that a joke is it and how come in other forums they are saying the same or similar thing calling for bigger payouts and that what players are wanting and it will make players happier but no one is bloody listening and PD should get out from under the table and listen to the fans.

Many people are impatient, there are also many users who agree with my views as well, you are entitled to your opinions, im simply stating that there are alternatives which are not that bad. Also, PD isnt under a table, they are busy working on adding new tracks and new cars and new game modes/settings in order to fully flesh out their game. Its not that PD doesnt listen to its fans, its that their fans ask alot and arent patient enough to wait for what clerely takes time. but again, you are entitled to your opinion.

@hall90 As @light_bright said you haven't been very specific in what you are looking for. The Red Bull challenge currently gives roughly 1.3M per hour and I say reasonable. You say more. How much more? 2M per hour? 3? 10? When is good? When is too much? Is there too much? Should we get rid of credits altogether and you can have anything anytime you want?

I hope you don't think I've been mean or disrespectful. I just enjoy a good debate. Apologies if you've thought otherwise.

Totally agree...we all play 1,1 and half hour a day..with 200% it1.389.000 x 3=4.167.000
In a few day it's over 20 mill. So it's mean 20 mill.car a weekly..I think it is fair ...

It is still time-consuming though .

Ok,but if you buy all car in week, whats the point of play ? You will be bored of playing in a week, right?
Players just want better payouts and that's what people saying about this game. And somewhere on this forum they had and article about fonza 5 vs GT6 the good and bad things about the games and one of the bad things about GT6 they mention it is time-consuming and grinding.

Oh you have a life? Do you want a cookie?

I'm fine with the way everything is NOW, it's what's missing that is the problem.

What's missing, is the "repeatable" seasonals like we had in GT5.
Not quite as high as non-repeatable payouts, but you can earn from them over and over.
The repeat seasonals from gt5 used to be one of the top 3 attractions to playing the game at the time.
The payouts for the 24 minute races are good, . . . Except they are 24 minutes long, lol. That's fine once in awhile, but grinding on 24 minute races gets old very fast.

Right now, the fastest payout I see for the time, is Like the Wind race 3. It's only 140k per race, but it only takes 3 and 1/2 minutes to complete.

I care more about the paint chips than the money.
I just wish I could repeat them and grid out more paint chips.

I'm thinking that they are more than likely rationing out the special chips available through the seasonals as the chip made available from each seasonal is the same for everyone. Given that we can reuse the paint chips now and with no need to build up chip stocks as per GT5, they are thinking long term playability and feeding features and seasonal races into the game over time. I'm guessing that replayable seasonals will come in at some stage.

Patience does seem to be a feature missing from the playing group these days.

Replayable seasonals will come in at some stage I hope your right. Perhaps PD is waiting for online GT5 seasonals races to end in may I think and then we might get them on GT6.

I still have 35 million cr. plus about 10 more XJ13s that sell for 6 million cr. each from the glitch. I'm a bad person :embarrassed::boggled: It sucks there aren't seasonals like GT5's yet. The Nurb seasonal got me 1 milllion cr. in 6 minutes.

And before anyone says anything about how bad I am for glitching, I wanted the cars and did not want to grind for them. You may find joy out of grinding for money, but I find joy in getting the cars I wanted to drive and got the game for right away instead of spending days trying to get one or two cars. It's simple, I wanted the cars and you may want to grind. That's cool with me.

Then it's better red bull junior first race...3:40 and give 177k

Well, I dont mind grinding. I saved up 750,000 for the Stielow Engineering Camaro to enter in a race for cars older than 1979. I read the specs on the Stielow and it was a 1969 Camaro from the info sheet. I bought the car, entered the race and "boom" got declined by the race entry screening?!?!? WHAT!! The car did not qualify, even though it was a 1969?!?! I got so ticked off that I sold the car and guess what they gave me...... 200,000???? I never even started the damn thing??? How can they charge 750K and turn around and give you 200K for the car that had not even been started??

Anyway, I was really ticked off at PD for not following their own guidelines......so I used the glitch quite happily and bought myself some cars and money for tunes. I figure, if PD is not gonna play by their own rules, why should I??
I have over 250 cars in GT5 with a 20,000,000 dollar bank account by grinding and racing hard. I started GT5 again with a second entity and did it all again with 100 cars which is about how many I have in GT6. I really don't feel the need to drive around in crap cars for months to finally get to the good stuff, I've already done that twice!
Cheers, Mustangxr
