No GT Style rim for CSR Elite.

Bummer. I was really hoping this was going to be released soon. The rim is serviceable, and since I drive with gloves, it isn't a massive issue, but would seriously love a new GT style rim with an actual metal core. The wheel flexes far to much as it stands, and the ridiculously solid base on the CSR-E totally outclasses the plastic flexi-wheel.

Looks like I'll have to go the mod route after all. Thomas/Fanatec, if you read this - I dropped almost $800 on the CSR-E wheel and pedal combo (plus stand). You most certainly SHOULD be catering to me at this price point. F1 wheel isn't useful to me and the type of driving I do, and since I play primarily FM4 at the moment, I can't think of an alternative wheel. There is far to much flex in the stock rim; buyers remorse isn't a good thing to cultivate in your rather niche customer base.

By now I've given up the hope for a GT rim on the Elite.
The cracking in my Elite wheel rim is so annoying, that it doesn't feel like 500 euro worth.
Very disappointing, because the rest of the wheel is just amazing.
Next month I will start a mod on my own with a Sparco wheel

Spike, be sure to post up some pics. I'm very interested in doing this as well.
