Hi,

When and why would I create and save a car's setup in the garage that allows you to make changes to everything vs. after I've entered a race and setup the car based on BoP and restrictions on what can/cannot be changed?

For example, when I make changes to a car's transmission manual adjustment in the garage then enter a Quick Race the gearing is changed.

Thx

Because they try to level the playing field. Some races will let you use your setup, some dont. That's how the game works.

Most online races wont let you use your setup tho, unless you go to private lobby where sometimes you can.

Thx! A guy in my league provided this info as well.

"Most races pre-GT7 were no BOP. Because we had more options to track HP/LBS and more lobby setting options. All races in GT7 except GT Sport and our ARL league races are non-BOP. Almost no leagues do non-BOP races because it's hard to balance the cars.
This is more for the street car folks. On any given Friday night, most public lobbies are car shows, realistic cruises, cop/speeder role play, or for the racing part...PP races (any car up to 600PP for instance... saved tunes are huge for these)."
