Just out of curiosity how many of you guys here are participating in No Shave November ?
This something that hit close to home for me. One of my grandmas died of cancer after a ten year fight, one of my aunts is a breast cancer survivor. And one of childhood friends died before his tenth birthday from it. Suffice to say I support the research and patients in any way I can.

If you want post your fuzziness in support and visit the website above to find a organization you can donate to locally.

That's all I'm gonna get too. I didn't shave two weeks for my Halloween outfit. Now it stays till 12/1

I'd love to take part, I haven't had a chance for furry face fuzz in years but it doesn't really suit me well and I like to keep clean shaven for work and because my wife prefers it.

I'm sure your wife and work would understand for a good cause. Never hurts to ask. 👍

Even at 30 I would be super spotty. There's still areas in "beard land" that do not have hair. So no, absolutely not.
I hear ya there. My stash and goatee didn't stabilize till a few years back when I decided to keep them and shave the spotty spots. The patches just didn't come back for me. The rest of my family look like grizzly Adams if they don't shave for a week  I'm the lucky one I guess. :odd:
The thoughts are enough thank you guys. Pass the word around your parts. 👍

I thought no shave November was some silly fad. They've made it into a way to grow awareness for cancer now?

It's more to do with the fact I work with kids and I don't want to terrify them.
Totally understand. A semi sudden change can do that to youngsters. Always throws my kids off when I don't shave.
My three year old says yucky hairy when she gives me a good night kiss. *on the cheek*
It's hard to see see in the pic but my jaw line has a full cover of fine white blond hair

Well technically, I sorta have an unfair advantage considering my face spouts hair like crazy but having lost a family member to cancer, it hits home for me so I'm doing.

Going to donate to Cancer Research UK directly. 👍
Remember ladies, this is for guys only. I'm not tryna practice my jungle survival skills on you.
It says women can also join the cause too, don't be so sexist. ;)

FAQ snippet for proof:
We encourage men and women to join the cause, whether you put down your razor or go around town posting flyers. Any and all participation helps the effort!

I know I saw that, but it came across as more of a smart aleck correction, especially following the FAQ Snippet.
Wasn't trying to be. Also FAQ snippet and link seemed relevant to OP as it mentions other ways people can help. Gives more awareness.

In your example, this may be relevant:
Already sporting a full beard? We challenge those of you who do not routinely shave to consider a fresh start for November.

Well let's move away from this discussion, as it just looked like you took the joke a bit to literal.

I guess you can say I'm very dedicated to the cause, as I've kept the No-shaving going for close to a decade now.

That's not how the cause works, sorry couldn't help it but you got your smart alec response.

Ok, I'm just going to stop here as you seem to be a bit too literal and just suck the fun out of it.
Ain't that what you are doing? Anyway gave a straightforward answer on how you can show your support which is mentioned in FAQ, make of that what you will.
