The latest trailer shows a woman:

But that doesn't mean much, the trailer shows a lot of things that aren't in GT5.

The presence of women is probably one the last things Kaz is worried about. Shoot, I play GT5 because the women of the household get too bothersome at times.

Incidentally, she most probably is the one girl in the game. The same one from Bern and the license tests.

Ok, and the name of the lady of Bern is? 💡

As the first and only woman on GT5's earth, I guess her name should be "Eva".

One of my Bobbettes is M. Monroe.

Now, you're not going to convince me they were thinking of Mike the former Hanoi Rocks frontman - are you?

From now on I want you all to call me Loretta...

I was going to say. Surely, nobody would want to tell me my C.Crawford is actually a guy, or? :scared:

Speaking of Carl Crawford, there aren't black people in GT5's world so if PD is interested in adding people of different races then, I want the BLUE People too!!!:dopey:

I haven’t noticed that only “white” people were on the game, I thought only women were excluded.:dunce:

I agree with all of you that said that this does not matter, it is a racing game, and… no, wait, sorry… it is one of the best racing games ever made in history (Probably the best for me), and when you are intended to appreciate the beautifully created landscape and even take pictures, results very weird that some basic things are missing.

Ok I know some will start saying that the game is incomplete from the beginning, and that there are many things that can and must be solved first, and you are right.

Well at least the presence of women around when we race can be solved, in person.:)

Why on earth would there be women in GT5? There's no kitchens in the world of Gran Turismo.

It happens that my sisters and my wife often race with me, and every time I go to a race event or watch it on TV (some times with them) there are many other beautiful ladies. So, for me it is a very important part of racing.

For women

Isn't that woman who is narrating the license tests and shown in the photo thingy the woman from Fifth Gear?

Viki Butler-Henderson you mean? No, she doesn't look anything like the solitary GT5 women.

Have you noticed that there are not women in GT5? Well, there is only one blonde lady that you can see in Bern, license tests, and sometimes at the opening of the game in our pit, but that’s it.

Yes, I know this is a “E” rated game, but girls on the crowd that cheer us should be good, and pit girls are an important part of races.

I will go farter, why women can not create a female avatar? or why we are not allowed to get a female B-Spec Driver.

I do not want this to sound like complaining. This is only an observation. I love GT5 with all his pros and cons, and barely has gotten out of my PS3 in a year, but… What do you think? Have you seen other lady in GT5?
They don't have different races for avatars either!
How dare PD not focus on PR BS! We need skin color, ethnicity, sex, and sexual preference for all driver avatars, now!

My drivers a girl btw, she wears pink, just has short hair. :P

Way to go Pee-Wee. 👍

Maybe you'll develop a sense of humor?

Figure out what's a joke guys, it ain't that hard is it?

The word "joke" implies "funnies". I found no funnies in that statement, only tired, "popular" stereotypes that serve only to massage the egos of insecure men across the western world. Unless it was irony, in which case, bravo.

Either you're single or you're divorced. 👎

Fixed. And I'm neither.
In fact, it was my wife who encouraged me to make the joke, as it's an ongoing joke in our relationship. It has no depth of meaning, and used solely for the humor derived from the stereotype.

Thank you for contributing to the thread. My comment may have been sarcastic, but at least it pertained to the topic.

Here's some more dry, non-funny 'humor' for you.

That's because you're taking it seriously. :dunce:
Honestly "men" that can't laugh at these jokes are the worst, FFS you don't need to defend women every second of the day, you're ironically demeaning women with your own attitude of acting like any joke like this can't be funny and needs to be silenced.

Women are capable of taking a joke, give them some credit you sexist.💡
