My pick in no particular order:
Hamilton: Come on, he won 10 races. Lost the title this year on the starting line if anything, And an untimely engine failure when things started coming around again was too much to make up for.

Ricciardo: He really got Webber'd a lot by his team. Countless times now they've botched his strategy and gotten Max's perfectly. Nevertheless he was always fast, always consistent and is a future champion in his own right.

Alonso: Showed he's still got it even if his machinery is still lacking. Plenty Q3 appearances, plenty positions gained at the start of races, I just can't wait to see the best driver on the grid in a good car again.

Perez: Taking home the 2016 Adrian Sutil award for being the best of the average/midfield drivers this year is Perez. A pay driver with talent, an asset to any team, and first in line for a top seat when a space ia vacant, he's had a great year.

Honorable mentions:
Wehrlein: For some reason in the shadow of Ocon after only a couple races, let's not forget how impressive he's been all year in poor machinery. Until Nasr's heroics he would have won his team a good chunk of prize money.

Magnussen: If he had a car that could routinely score points we'd see how much better he is than his teammate who for some rea$on is still at the team. At least Haas see his talent and offered him a lifeline.

Sainz: No less deserving of the seat Mel Gibson got, here's to a fruitful career for the other future champion on the grid.
