NOMINATIONS: Best Looking 1950s F1 Car [Open 21/03-28/03]

I have serious objections to some of the nominations on both aesthetic and technical grounds. However, I am reluctant to argue my objections because "best looking" is such a subjective term. The only vehicle that I feel must be mentioned in this context is the Cooper T51; it was pretty much universally regarded as abhorrently ugly back in the day. They were referred to as scuttling beetles, derided for their primitive and unrefined fiberglass shells. Their beauty truly derived only from their performance, despite the fact the engine was probably the least powerful of all the major 2.5 liter engines manufactured for the formula.

Something I have stressed, as though the title isn't self-evident:

Just to clarify, we're not looking for the most innovative or most successful car; just the best looking. Nothing more. It could be a front-runner or a tail-ender.

However, people are free to nominate how they like.
