Non Group cars generally harder to drive?

Hey guys, would you agree that any non group (1,3,4,x) cars are harder to drive, but also easier to improve your lap time in?

Also does anyone here think they do better in N cars than in a Group car? Which i know is counter intuitive with what im saying but just today in the GTI daily race, 5 of my total wins (8) in sport mode where on that race, and in a Group car race im normally a mid pack racer.

I dont even understand myself lol :banghead:
 
I wouldn‘t say that any n car is harder to drive it’s just a different approach in this Cars compared to Group 4 or 3 Cars. And dont forget that in Sport Mode the N Cars are equipped with Sport Tires while on the other side the Group Cars are driven with Racing Tires. IMO that’s what differs most in the way how those Cars behave. Driving N Cars with Sport Tires means you have to drive faultless and super precise and always maintain the ideal line and correct corner speed.Otherwise anyone is able to drive Group Cars cause it’s much easier to correct smaller mistakes but ultimately said if you try to push those on the limit it’s also hard to do. I think that’s also a reason why so many people enjoy it more to drive Group Cars but driving them fast that’s the Challenge.
 
I think it's mostly because you get used to the braking points of the racing cars, and they just don't work with road cars.
Mostly due to the fact that they have no downforce, cack suspension, cack brakes and cack tyres.
 
Put race tires on a Nxxx car and you would be amazed...
Of course, on Sport Mode races you don't get to decide which tires to use...

Road/Sport tires don't behave like slick racing tires. Where you see the most is how easy the yblock while braking and how much you understeer. It's harder to compensate an overshoot on the brakes or correct trajectory fedling with throtlle.
The game is exaggerated on this matter, there isn't such a difference between slick hard tires and some good street legal tires.
A BS thing from PD is the need to warm up road tires. They are nowhere as temp sensitive as slicks, they heat up very quickly due the treads, in the old days they didn't even had warm up/formation laps in most competitions.

I sometimes dont even enter the warm up before the race, I know this might sound stupid but i thought the car reset after the warm up lol, I'll enter it now and warm up the tires.

Do it... for some reason PD tought it would be fun you start qualifying on warm tires and start (after a formation lap) the race on cold tires, if you didn't go to the track in the warm up...
You will see notable differences on the first corner, as no longer would as if you were driving on ice.
