Im excited to try this, I have a buttload of 500pp tunes I need to try.

Two options.
1. press reply in my post, and my text get into "quote"
2. press shift+2=@ and after the @ start typing ( no space between @ and the name)
if your browser supports it, when typing the letters a list will load, and you can select the name, sometimes you need 4 letters or more before the name you need, appears.

GT6 is messing up, a 600pp event that is 500pp, paintchips that are the right ones, and different paintchips.
You can add, that the paintchips can be random.
This is the wierdest events update i have seen by now.
With the drift events i both got the paintchip that was stated in the info, so i got that one double, waste of data PD, waste of data.

Well I just turned the sound down, need to hear the tires. Followed WhoosierGirl's ghost and got a 1:12.338 for an EARLY 34 place. GSXR/4 it is for this one and a fast time. Track seems real slippy to me.

I have four different paint chips for the four different events, anyone else? The OP says GT GUNMETAL 006-W paint chip, but I got GT GREY 002-N for this TT.

Lucky you because I got the same GT GUNMETAL 006-W for both events. No Grey or Gold Chrome as you have stated that you received. Just further enhances my frustration with this game. I swear, PD could mess up a wet dream.

Agreed, that is pretty jacked. Here's what I won:
FGT Super Lap - Gold Chrome
500PP Super Lap - GT Grey 002-N
Pre-1980s Japanese Drift - GT Japanese 004-W
2wd Racecars Drift - GT Metallic 004-C

I feel your pain. I'm stuck with a paint chip which I already had so in a sense, I got no prize for these two TT events. After this latest 🤬 up, I'm done. Disc is already taken out of the console and put back in its case. I'll take it back out when PD pulls their head out.

Currently sitting on 1.12.379 @58th (not for long i guess) with DS3. Still to improve, something like 1.11.6xx possible. After sector 2 im 0.9xx behind, its sector 3 my biggest problem, on the U-turn and last chicane.

Same thing happened to me.

Good thing I had backed up my save game two days ago. So I just restored it to the old save, re-did everything I had done and got the new paint chips.

It is not really for the paintchips, it the way how they tried to solve it.
There is not a small sorry, or a fast little hotfix with a message.
They just changed the jpeg for the 500pp hotlap and changed the data for the paintchips without any message.
Just abracadabra and poeff.

Some loyal fans are really really pee'd off.I know, they told me.
I was just frustrated.

Not anymore, i got it of my chest.

I wouldn't count on it. We, the ones that have lined their pockets with cash over the last 15 years, mean nothing to them. So.....don't hold your breath waiting.

I like this idea a lot.

Next time I'll run time trials in realistic rental cars. If it's in the US, it'll be a Camaro, a Mustang, or a Corvette with some last minute nitrous kit.

Since I refuse to even buy the Suzuki GSX-R/4 (the ugly thing's not even a production car!), I tried it with my stock Ruf RGT. Shockingly, despite how unimpressively I drive, I got silver!

Then I tried @praiano63's 500 PP tune of the '01 NSX Type S and I'm .3 seconds off from gold. I think I'll get it eventually, though I don't know if the NSX is the best car for me do it with.

Small victories, but I'll take 'em.

You could try with the Lamborghini Miura, if you have one already. I'm at 1:14.404 with it for the time being, until I decide to get behind the wheel of my Suzuki GSX-R/4.

Also the X-Bow or ZZII could do well here, the FT-86 Concept '09 or FT-86 G-Sports Concept '11 are two others that spring to mind for a fairly easy gold lap.

You should have done at least 2 (two) laps, braking points are always wrong in the first lap (to say the least).
