You can adjust the Brake Bias for Racing/Tuned cars but not for Production cars, since they must be stock.

Yeah i meant for production cars only sorry :)

It truly change how the car behave entering a corner, i adjust it for racing cars when i feel it necessary though. :)

Its just that we should all use the same rules even if its DS3.

Im sure you will still be more than competitive anyway! :D

:)

Its on my list! :dopey:

Aww, I was gonna try that sometime :grumpy: I still have my Lancer/Skyline collection to hotlap, though :dopey: And the Furai has insane handling and performance capabilities for a concept car, almost like to an F1's levels, so I'll expect a sub-5:30 or less.

I double-checked it, and that car is in-fact unmodified. Apart from tuning the suspension and transmission, along with the brake bias to allow me to keep ABS Off. I also did an oil change which brought the HP up to 720-ish ;)

The car will still qualify on the leaderboard since I didn't add any parts to it. I never lie about my laptimes since I'll only be fooling myself :indiff:

That's funny because broken in with an oil change mine is 775 HP. It comes stock with 739 HP. Where did you make up that number from? You may not be lying about your lap times but you're lying about your car. Just taking a wild guess at what the HP should be before you put the Stage 3 engine on it, I'm guessing? You make no mention of using the engine limiter.

I thought the X1 Prototype was the Carbon version? Or is the 3rd one the default one that can be bought at Level 40 for 20 million?

Actually, the X1 with the Carbon Fibre material isn't really named X1 Carbon, just X1 Prototype. I think the Carbon one is the plain-colored one. Otherwise it's just named X1 2010.

That's what I thought:
X2010 Prototype - Carbon Fibre
X2010 S. Vettel - Red Bull livery
X2010 - Normal livery

I'll fix that. The X2010 Carbon is actually just a normal livery one. Why it was called Carbon I have no idea.

Plus, the plain-colored X2010 should've beaten the S. Vettel, as I can recall it has shorter gear ratios and feels less "regulated" than the Vettel (what I mean by that is for instance the maximum Gs allowed compared to the Vettel).

That may be down to driver. I for one find it hard to do a clean lap, but if I did it'd be around 4:30. ;)

Probably so. I took the X2010 to Laguna and it felt it had way more G-force than the Vettel (managed a 0:50 :D).

Can't remember my exact time but I think I did around a 0:57 in the Vettel. To be honest, I don't know how you guys do these laps of Nordschleife. Either you're amazing or I'm super-slow because you're often around 30s faster than me, and I've been playing GT for 5 years. Do you use rocket fuel or just have no sense of fear?

To be honest, I have no idea. I think it takes some quick reflexes & concentration to handle it well. But I have huge respect for the guys who managed a sub-4:00 on Nordschleife. Takes like 10 times the concentration on all three of the Vettel Challenges.

You can go for it bud, i wont run it soon, but i want to try it one in a near futur! hehe, im currently uploading some of my lap replays with a capture card!

do you think it would be a good idea to link them on the spreadsheet?
I think it can be nice to have it as a proof and it may also help some people that are not sure what kind of racing line to use with different car.. etc..

I wont upload every lap though, its about 1gb by lap lol :D

Your doing well! :D at that rate you will have to run faster cars!👍

New times:

08:01.339 - Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec N1 (R34) '99 (elitedriver123) <-- NEW
My first Skyline in part of my Standard Skylines list. And it's a pretty nice start. Handles very well for a 4WD. Experienced little understeer.

08:39.090 - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR '92 (elitedriver123) <-- NEW
My first Lancer in part of my Standard Lancers list. And once again, a pretty good start. Slow yet powerful through the corners. Quite enjoyable ride for cruising.

I don't know where you got your hp figures from, because my Zonda R has 726hp even with the limiter set to 100%, it has only 20km to be broken-in completely. I can post a picture if you wish :)

If you used the stock suspension settings, that would explain the laptime difference. Playing with the suspension does more than you'd expect when it comes to improving your laptimes, the stock settings are useless. That itself would account for about 4 seconds, while the tyres would account for the next 10 seconds.

Same with the transmission, the stock gearing is too short for the Nordschleife. Making it longer gives you some more top speed

Another new time:

07:18.842 - RE Anemiya FD35 RX-7 (elitedriver123) <-- NEW
Really meant for drifting, but what the hey? And surprisingly, it worked out very well. The car felt very planted from beginning to end.

I'm gonna try to work on some of my production times and try to beat them, and maybe try to beat some from others, as well :mischievous:

^^

Thanks! :) And I left it on Sports Softs, as I thought it was a production :P

And really nice ZR1 video 👍 You drive w/ clutch?

I just mark the text and press the botton with the globe and chain-link-thingy... Ehm... Can't explain it better..

Btw, do you remember to update the alphabetic list also? :)

Well its even better then :D

Normaly i run with the clutch, but for the leaderboard now im using the paddles, most of my earliest time are done with clutch and no oil change.
At the end after the lap i was using the clutch thats why it stalled lol

Thx! oops yes guilty lol i will edit the alphabetic list as well my bad forgot it. :)

Cant find that little globe with the chain link thingy, but i got it to work by entering the formula manualy :)

EDIT:

SPREADSHEET UPDATED!

My suspension was tuned, my transmission was tuned and I was using racing softs. You're still full of **** and this leaderboard is a sham since they obviously believe your lies AND allow you to edit your illegitimate times into the spreadsheet.

Go look in the dealership the Zonda R comes stock with 739 HP.

^

Next, you'll say that the few of us who can lap a Zonda R (no parts added) around Nurburgring under 6 mins are using exploits :indiff:

There's no need to start acting like a 🤬 just because someone beat your laptime 💡 If I decided to add any illegitimate times into the chart, wouldn't all the top laps be mine? :dunce:

And I don't know if it's a difference in the game version, but my Zonda R comes with 715hp stock, and goes up to 726-728 hp once broken in. As I've stated before, if you want proof, I'll post it, though your unnecessarily aggressive behavior will likely mean that you'll decide it's photoshopped anyway

mike-gt3, I have a lot to learn with the G27:guilty: I tried lapping the R8 4.2 around it today, I was faster in some sectors than when I used the DS3, but the full laptime ended up to be 5 seconds slower than my current record :banghead:

I'm still using my PS2's old Driving Force Pro with flappy paddles. Works like a charm on GT5, though I'm sure a G27 would make me faster, except I can't drive so I'd be hopeless with a clutch peddle. ;)

I just did 6:13.xxx in the Zonda R on Racing Softs.. No tuning.. And I have hangovers.. So 5:59 is very doable, if you ask me.
