sorry for being a noob but what is the < BEATEN bit about?

It means that an already excisting time has been beaten, or "bettered", so to say. That someone drove a faster time with the car on that track and thus has "beaten" the old, already excisting, time.

It tells everyone who accesses the Lap Board Spreadsheet that a certain time has been beaten by you or someone else. The tag signifies that update.

EDIT: Tree'd :grumpy:

Found it. It's a Nismo. I don't know, if 07.17 is possible in that car. Also...

07:59:604 - Nissan Fairlady Z S-Tune (Z33) '02 (Bwlian)

This car doesn't exist. It's also a Nismo.

I've corrected a few mistakes in the spreadsheet and also updated the alphabetical list.

07:02.623 - Amuse Carbon R (R34) '04 (niceness-dk) NEW
07:04.559 - Amuse S2000 GT1 '04 (niceness-dk) NEW

07:23.593 - Art Morrison Corvette '60 (niceness-dk) NEW
06:11.585 - Audi R8 Race Car '01 (niceness-dk) NEW

Nice times! :)

But i think the Carbon R R34 is not street legal, if what they say in this topic is right:

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=202403

same for the S2000 GT1 turbo time i posted, should we switch them?

I think I can beat that R8 time :mischievous: But yep, nice times 👍 And apologize for the Z-Tune confusion. I think I used this car for that time.

I wondered myself of the legality of the Turbo. It seems to me to be a really hardcore track-day car, so I'm still unsure. I'm certainly thinking it'd fit more in the racer category though.

Yeah i think they would be more suited in the non-production category :)
that also mean they are now allowed to run racing soft.

Still thats some nice new entries! :)

Can anyone confirm they aren't road-legal or production? Do Amuse have a website? I would check but it's 1AM here.

I cant seem to edit the spreadsheet for some reason, so hopefully you can take the info from here? Thanks mate :).

04:44.730 - Formula Gran Turismo (feverpitch82) <-- BEATEN

I can get a 4.43 out of this car, am working on it 👍

Yeah, only selected people can edit it. People shall write the lap times in the thread, and an editor will update the sheet :)

I will update everyday before 10PM(here) now its 8PM, 12AM on the forum...
Again for those who post new lap times, please make sure you fill the entry like it should, refer to the first page of the thread :)

Make things a lot easier for the editors! :)

Well, i guess the S2000 GT1 Turbo is street legal finaly:scared: :

The R8 time should be easy to beat. I only drove one lap (after driving the R8 Playstation for af few laps), and I'm really no good at driving prototypes!

6:13.079 - Pagani Zonda R '09, ssyd780

Had it running at 650PP in practice mode. No upgrades and racing soft tires. Was a hell of a fight to put down a clean lap in this beast. I did a 6:17.xxx and gave myself the goal to get under 6:15.xxx. When I finally managed to pull a clean and mistake-free lap, I surprised myself with the 6:13.079.

So far:

Corvette ZR C6 stock: 7:11:240 (night)

Can you confirm this?
Make sure you fill the entry like it should, with full car name, your time on the stock car, stock tires, and make sure you save the ghost replay, the lap should be valid. :)

ssyd780, your entry should look like:

06:13.079 - Pagani Zonda R '09 (ssyd780) BEATEN

SPREADSHEET UPDATED!!

07:07.670 - High End Performance G37 (zedextreme8177) - NEW
For a car which is really heavy (well, a TV and a PS3 in the back :dopey:), it handles good and is quite quick, though not on par with the other tuners.

06:18.502 - TVR Tuscan Speed 6 RM '00 (Fully Tuned, RS Tyres) (zedextreme8177) - NEW
Another great car, one which I use regularly online. It corners like it's on rails, but the suspension had to be tuned to reduce the extreme understeer when applying the throttle :irked:

05:59.295 - Pagani Zonda R '09 (zedextreme8177) - BEATEN
This car is insane  You have to be extremely delicate with the controls while driving, or you're going to spin out :ouch:

Spreadsheet Updated!

Btw: These are the last laptimes I will set with the DS3. I still haven't got full practicewith the G27, also have to get a proper wheelstand to get the pedals in the correct position :grumpy:

Feverpitch, if you have access to edit the spreadsheet, please make sure you really have updated ALL the lap time in the previous posts (after last update)

You forgot Alex p. 's time... i will edit the spreadsheet.

(oil changed, racing soft tires, wing: 20/45, 336hp 512PP 267kmh/166mph, slower than the Altezza LM but a lot more fun!! )

How did you shave almost 14 seconds off my hot lap without any upgrades beyond the tires?

Edit: Never mind I thought I read you couldn't do a turbo upgrade or weight reduction but after reading further I don't see anything that says you can't. Still, 14 seconds is insane.

Edit again: Found it. It's not written directly in the rules but this is what made me think it had to be stock.
As a bonus, I'm allowing Racing/non-production cars too (on a separate leader board), which can have any tuning so long as the parts themselves are stock, (so no extra weight changes or added Turbochargers).
There's no way that time was done without an upgraded turbo and possibly engine. Or does this just mean you can't turbocharge an NA car? Either way, this distinction doesn't matter because the Zonda is naturally aspirated.

I double-checked it, and that car is in-fact unmodified. Apart from tuning the suspension and transmission, along with the brake bias to allow me to keep ABS Off. I also did an oil change which brought the HP up to 720-ish ;)

The car will still qualify on the leaderboard since I didn't add any parts to it. I never lie about my laptimes since I'll only be fooling myself :indiff:

I can back-up zedexreme time on that, we've battled for some laps and we were tenths from each other all the time. If your time dont have oil change go do it you can shave at least 1 second just by doing that. :)

The non-production/racing category let you use any tire you want, but you cant add any upgraded parts. You can adjust the car (suspension, wings, gearbox etc...) but the only power adder allowed is oil change and engine rebuild.

Only thing i can ask to you Zedextreme, if you dont bother :), is stop adjusting the brake bias from now since you have the G27 wheel. :)

Even if the ABS is off. No one can adjust the brake bias if we read the rules. With ABS on and brake bias adjusted i seen difference on racing cars, it really helped getting into corner faster. I know with ABS off its hard, but it do help if you can master the braking.

Just to make things even for everyone. :)

I got one for the tuned section. :)

Well, I believe that adjusting brake bias is within the rules, since no parts are added to the car (all cars come with adjustable brakes). I don't know if this applies to production cars though, would like bonobo4 to clear it up :)
