I personally am going to call bull crap on a number of these times.
For example, the record for the Zonda R is 6:47.5 averaging 115.058Mph, yet you have it at a 5:54.369 which averages out to 133.146Mph. No amount of "lack of fear" or what have you will give you that sort of difference without adding a large amount of horsepower and handling aids.

Racing soft tyres=all I am gonna say.

Exactly. Non-production times allow you to tune the LSD, aerodynamics, and any tires you like, which -- setup right -- can result in a very quick car. However I think the lapboard would be more accurate if those items were added next to the times, including the settings.

And yeah, the racing soft are beyond what real slick would allow.

And if you just take the Enzo ferrari for example, i seen a real video of it on Nordshleife and its top speed on the long straight was 308kmh, in the game after oil change all stock you can get up to 339 kmh. just that will make you shave a lot of time and is not ''realistic'', i would have to detune it to hit 308kmh and then see.

look at the video carefuly for the Zonda R, you see im on racing soft, then look at my top speed and test one with full power upgrade (if theres any i never tried to see if there was any power upgrade for this car....) just mod it and test the top speed you will go faster than me in straight line.

And i beaten the 5:54 last weekend, will post my update tomorow.

I will add the settings when possible on the sheet, for the 5:54 i only changed the final ratio gear, added full downforce, racing soft, oil change almost fully broken-in 783hp (786hp fully broken-in) thats it.

For my new time i played with the ride height and rear toe angle.

Let me remind you, that GT5 is a game. Drivers here are obviously willing to take greater risks in corners, tires, physics, weather conditions etc. are also different. The Zonda R time has been discussed before. There are videos on youtube with times under 6 minutes. I can assure you that all the times on this list are valid. These are trustworthy people

I think a '22.xxx is my goal in the near future. (so no need for a board update yet, just wanted to share the progress)

I think we should keep the videos still there even if the time is beaten, they're great help for many I'm sure. Maybe just note the time on the video on a different column. 👍

7:24 in the F40 is seriously fast especially without oil change, i know my lap time will vary depending the car because of my driving style, but i cant see where to gain 2 seconds on the F40 and i have the oil change and full break-in on engine...

Its not that i dont believe but id like to see a video to know where im losing 2 seconds, if possible when you are done with it.

I got a 6:20ish in the Ford XR8 V8 Supercar a few days ago, it has to be the easiest racing car to pilot around the Nurburgring, so planted and almost no downsides. Sounds great, turns in well, tops out at over 300 down the long straight, pulls like a train, and is very very easy to drive consistent laps in.

I'll get the exact time when I can get back to my PS3, but I'd say there's another five seconds in it maybe.

Not a true hotlap, just my first under 6:00 with the car, I'm sure it can be improved upon.

Please guys make sure you read the rules, only post if your lap time is faster, and make sure you fill the information like ^^^^ Timppaq just quoted.

Its not that we dont care if you are close to the curretn fastest lap, but its a lot of info to read in the thread to update the spreadsheet.

Im wondering if the online mode has an effect on laptime?
From what i read on the forum theres a difference, should we stick to offline modes?

I dont bother updating those, but in the futur we should all use the same modes in my opinion. I have no idea if its true about the online mode...

If anything, online is a slight disadvantage from what I gather.

Hey Mike,

How long does it take to run the zonda in? Im running at 760 BHP at the moment, did a 5.48 with all aids off BUT with SRF on ( im just experimenting with the laptime differences and havent done a run with it off yet ).

Also what is the fastest time anyone has seen for the stock zonda online? Or anywhere for that matter?

Hard to say how long it take, id say may be 6-10 laps, i have no idea

5:48 is fast, i mean... REALLY fast! lol
i will upload my 5:52 video tonight, i did 2 errors , i lost id say 0.400-0.700 may be. Overall its the best i could do with the setup i had, im not too good with settings... hehe

fastest i seen is 5:51 and it didnt looked right, i think he used the SRF.

Little better, 7'23.706 with the F40. '22 is there with a really good lap, did 2 minor mistakes.

Will give it a few goes next week and see what happens.
