stock but rs tires
You're right, well spotted 👍I have some questions, just to make sure it is right:
09:52.977 - Toyota Yaris RS Turbo (J) '02 (GTP_Manuelos)
I assumed you meant 08:52.977?
Am somewhat reluctant to add times that I have managed to run. I have almost all cars in the game and am slowly making my way through all the cars at the ring in alphabetical order. (Am up to BMW M3 coupe '07). I leave all cars stock and basically get into them and run them at the ring.
Looking at some of the times posted, my times are no way near, so kudos to those racers. But looking at some other times, mine are far faster than those posted and do not want to post in case I get accused of cheating. I do spend alot of "virtual" time at the ring so I know my times should hopefully be above average but not fantastically unrealistic. I have put a couple of examples below of my times. I use a DS3 with automatic transmission.
Art Morrison Corvette '60 - 7m 34.321
Alfa Romeo 8C competizione '08 - 7m25.869
Looking at my Alfa time, would it be worth me posting my other good times? I would like to, to show off my ring skills, but not if a few accusations start flying around.
Mike as always a great job! Thx!
And also I agree on the ZR1 time. Some times posted here seem downright impossible, like the F40 time, but that one has a video right?
Did you see my lap of it in my thread? I only managed a 7.31.614, 8-8! seconds slower than the record?! The ****...
Ok, I didn't oil change but still maaaaan where and how to find 8 freaking seconds...
You're right, well spotted 👍
Some new times comming up tomorrow
I saw that, but whatever the name was it appeared a totally different car.07:49.848 - Nissan 350Z '03 (US) (GTP_CSL)
I did an error, my game is in french, and EU(french) is the same as US(english), i didnt realized that until now... i will make sure the rest of the sheet is alright, the (Z33,EU) is the same as (US) you posted.
I couldnt add your time because of that since there is already one slightly faster, sorry my bad.
Yup, 1320. I would have been more concerned if you ran that with a 1440KG car anyway.

My mistakeOh and Mike, the time for the Toyota ALTEZZA AS200 in the spreadsheet, says '98 '00, so is it now the '98 version or the '00 version? Because it can't be both lol.
Nah man, just insanely in love with the ringWow! haha you guys are crazy!
Mike as always a great job! Thx!

I have to agree with you on the times seeming to be totally impossible. But then I had to think over about how much time do I spend even on GT (to be honest, I hadn't really played GT in month). I saw a time for the GT-R Black Ed., a 7:17, and went off and did like 5 or 6 laps trying to see where I compare. Best time out of those, a 7:34. A whole 17 seconds slower. Needless to say I was quite discouraged. I mean, where the heck is 17 seconds at? I know I'm not the fastest guy out there (far from it), but dang, I aint exactly slow either. Or am I? 17 seconds???? At least those were my thoughts initially.
Truth be told, it boils down to the fact that folks are putting in the laps and hitting these times legitimately which means I've got to put the some serious laps in too. (Can you say DUH with me???)
Hopefully I'll get a chance to post some quality times. Correction. Hopefully my wife gives me the chance to put in some time to post some quality times.
By the way, I tried the ZR1 also. That thing is TAIL HAPPY (but I have been driving the GT-R quite a bit lately). It takes a LOT of patience in the corners driving that thing. I know we can't change tires on production vehicles per the rules, but can I at least have my cat perform this mod?
When it dries I'm sure it'll do wonders to help the rear stick better.

No perfect, but good solid lap without big mistakes. Little sloppyness here and there, 0,5sec to go for me if you want to continue this
👍
Here's the crappy phone vid of the F40 lap, sorry for the quality.
Even though I'm happy with the time, I can see there's much trouble with the timing. At times it's good, but too many times I'm early in turn in (&braking) and a few times badly late. So, much to improve from here I believe. I think the biggest reason for this is the lack of seat time lately. There must be at least 1.0 sec to take off.. just get the timing right & use better lines at many points.
Still an awesome lap! i been able to improve 0.300 at 3nd split on my 7:32.354, but i always do something wrong after that, probably too nervous lol
I doubt ill be able to beat that, i know what to do but cant translate it into the wheel... will retry tomorow with a fresh mind, got a busy day at work
Thx for posting the vid, it will probably help me find what i do wrong. 👍
Well, you're 0,025secs behind per km, so I wouldn't say you're doing anything wrong!
And yes, it's a nevr game in the end. As you may notice, I don't have a "fastest lap" on my lap, as I just had taken a break and therefore just was giving it a go. That could be one of the resons I didn't lose it in the end
I hope you'll give it still another shot, I know you can beat the time. 👍 Nothing beats a little competition
