Yeah I was playing last night late and had mid race one of the error pop ups come up mid race, it let us all finish but after that you couldn't connect to PSN. Was about 12:40AM UK time

Fingers super crossed they can resolve this by 1 pm GMT - I wanted to get my ~1 million cr. from participating in the Manufacturers Cup, but I didn't perform well in the Suzuka round barring a victory against lowest-DR-ranked players in the final slot, so I haven't touched the online racing aspect since Wednesday in the hopes that my boost in the DR from that victory together with some good preparation for Daytona will pair me with some better-ranked players so I can get more points even if I finished low. And I dread playing at Spa online and the SR tanking that it will inevitably cause...

I'm on the south coast of the U.K. and PSN is still down despite a few media outlets saying it's working (does anyone trust the news lol). So rather than do nothing, I've been playing a bit of GingaForce, as that seems to work fine, I've also been looking out the window at the rain

As an old man all I can say it's that I trully despise the "being always connected" stuff and how much we rely on the digital world in our day and age. (e.g comunication, banking, shopping, gaming, etc)

Moments like this make me appreciate more the simplicity of gaming in the past. Turn on the console, insert disc and have fun.

Sure, gaming plays (no pun intended) just a small part in our lives but things like this are certainly annoying.
