November DLC - eBay Motors Car Pack - MP4/4 anyone?

The Prowler is the only one I'm disappointed with but I agree with people re the comments elsewhere. I personally think it's a really good car pack, most of the cars will be used be me frequently.

Will this be released at midnight in the UK? If not what time are they generally released? I really want to drive that McLaren!

Typically, you can expect the cars to become drivable in-game about... 18 hours from now. Roughly.
 
Let's safely assume it was the latter of my choices and move on. :P

Still, it's a bombshell that we have an old school turbo F1 car, both GT6 and now FM6 have one and both were driven by Ayrton Senna. :bowdown:

Thanks, I wasn't really sure about DLC times with Forza. Most of the other packs that I've wanted on the Forza series (the ALMS and Porsche ones) were already out before I bought the game.
 
I'm actually excited for the Prowler, since the LS swap should fix any major issues with it. It should have a pretty good weight balance, and a low centre of gravity. Throw some modern rubber on there, and it should be able to hold its own.

Really, I can see myself driving every one of these additions often, except maybe the Maser. A high-revving Datsun could be great fun, and I want to see what the big deal is with the Torana. Hopefully, it's inclusion means a few more Australian additions are in line.

What's most surprising to me is the Focus RS still not appearing. It could be that surprise. Details on the Porsche pack could also be the surprise, but it seems a bit early for that still.
 
As a Lancisti, I am excited about the Montecarlo. That's going to be entertaining.

I know people are saying there's no real "out there" car like the limo from the last DLC, but I argue the Prowler is that car. It doesn't fit any particular role. It's not really a sports car, not really a hot rod, and definitely not a race car. It's all about style over substance, and that's what makes it the "out there" car for me. I'm going to have a lot of fun painting it.
 
Is this the Prowlers first appearance in Forza?

I remember it being in Gran Turimso 4 as a Chrysler.

I did see one in person once, it was when I went on Holiday to New York.

The one that has stood out the most was the person dismissing the pack as "a bunch of old race cars from before I was born". Yes, sir, you are the turning point for when vehicles became relevant.
 
The Prowler is just one of those cars that's never excited me in real life or in any of the games that it's featured in. I've always thought that it drove like crap in games but that could just be a sort of confirmation bias on my part though.

I'm not arguing for its exclusion or anything ridiculous like that, it's clearly a popular car and it certainly adds something to the game.

When the Prowler first came out I loved it, as a kid it looked like a Hot Wheels car in real car form. I'm excited to look at it in Forzavista and to take it for a spin. I don't think I've ever seen one up close in real life, come to think of it.

To me that's what I like about these odd cars they put in the game, to get a taste of something I'm not usually paying attention to. So people can bitch and moan all they want about cars they don't like, but the real car enthusiasts around here will appreciate them. That's my reason for not complaining about the cars in these packs.

I'm 52 and have been a car guy ever since I was a baby sitting in my high chair with a toy car clutched in each chubby fist. I've got shelves of books and magazine devoted to cars I've collected my entire life. So it's a rare but very pleasant experience when someone shows me a car I know nothing about and that's the Torana. As much as I'm going to enjoy the other cars, the Torana is going to be something special for me.
 
All the other cars seem cool, especially the McLaren MP4/4, the car driven by my racing hero. I would also want to get my hands on the Mazda SKYACTIV race car and even the Plymouth Prowler.

I'm not complaining or bitching about its inclusion, being a 'real car enthusiast' myself, I'm fine with it being in the game.

We all have cars we like and dislike, for whatever reason. That's why we love games like Gran Turismo and Forza, the variety of vehicles in them is fantastic. The amount of cars that I've hated on in real life and went on to love thanks to games like GT and Forza is brilliant.
 
Still in dreamland. I've been meaning to recreate my Benetton Ferrari 458 in this game, but now I'm going to have an F1 car body roughly close enough to do it properly. Love it.

Yeah, but I thought they were never going to give us back the GT4 MC Trofeo. And surely not in the form of the championship-winning car.

...and I already know tomorrow there will be a video of some **** drifting it. Oh, hell, how long before SLAPtrain will be drifting the MP4/4? The Youtube Forza "community" needs to be licked by nuclear flames.
 
If Senna's MP4/4 was only in the second car pack, I shudder to think what we're in store for next! :eek: I'd love for some fan cars like the 2J will come to Forza.
