Your gears are not working for me. I' can't get anything out of them. 2nd gear bogs down at the top and I never even got a chance to use 5th in half my laps. The suspension was fine, (I reined in the front Toe to a respectable -0.10) but those gears..... I've been fighting them the whole time I was practicing and the whole time I was racing. I don't know how you guys are getting 1'53" lap times, I'm stuck way back in 1'56" with these settings.

And for some reason GTBR_Marcello Hit me 6 times in the 3rd race, twice in the second, and gave me a ramming penalty in the first race.

4th, 6th, 7th, 9th All last place.

Was unlucky. Heli's tune was great and could have raced for the wins, but lacked composure and luck when it mattered...

YEAAAAA!!!!! Hat-trick! hahaha. I unfortunately missed the first race due to a stupid network failure right when i was logging in, but was able to sweep the next 3!

First off, the usual apologies to anyone I touched in Race 2, my first one... was a little nervous but I think I let them pass back if I hit them.

Second, I agree with mkay who was cheated out of a sure podium in race 2 due to a penalty in the hairpin in the last lap I was following the 3 of you and it wasn't really justified.

Third, I was really lucky all 3 times, always in the right place at the right time. Twice I smoked Earth on the last straight, profiting from his slipstream; and the third time he let me take him on the outside in the last corner and I was able to hold him off somehow (do I have a lighter car? I'm running minimum weight...)

I was a little bitter. I tried for a long time to get the car setup, And I know I'm not that slow, usually I can at least keep up with Earth. Anyways, good racing guys, and I hope you will let me join in for the next one, I promise not to be so slow.

OK first off sorry again to GTP_Twistybits for the incidents in Race 2 and 4. Race 2 you went on the inside of me at turn 6, I didnt see you and cut inside, giving me a ramming penalty. You slowed for me which pretty much ruined your race.

Race 4 we're running 1 - 2 going into turn 10 and I brake too early, you swerve to miss me and wreck. Its bothering me that the only 2 major incidents I know I caused in the races involved you. So here another apology. You had a fast car but alot of unfortunate situations hurt your results.

Earth... seriously, it cannot be possible.

Race #2

First turn of the last lap, we were four (Godzilla, me, Earth and Canes), side by side/bunched up , I took the outside line and tried to jump to the inside to have the better exit and midway through the corner I got a ramming penalty (my third random ramming penalty), and then, game over.

Seriously?

If I rammed you here or anyone else sorry, I did all I could in this race to try and avoid contact, switching to chase cam at times to see whats around me and trying to give and take as much as possible. The same thing happened to me and Heli-Eric, I tried to take the fast line through turn 6 but he had position on the inside of me and I didn't see him. I got a ramming penalty.

On that lst race I gave you the lead in the last turn, but I guess I lost too much momentum and couldnt catch you even with the draft. I think you beat me 3 times by less then .1. The 2nd race was the best one as CANES, me and you all finished within .1

I think you just were just in the wrong place at the wrong time with the punters.

If someone can come up with a way to do this then we could try to implement it, I just dont know if its possible with 8-10 GTP drivers in a race, too much chaos.

As for me it was very satisfying to finally be competitive. I was 5 seconds off the pace at Suzuka, and 2 seconds at Daytona Road. At Fuji I could stay close enough to draft away any distance so I am very happy with my progress so far.

I don't know what to say about the gears. I just went back and double checked the numbers, they're what I raced with, and time trialed with. The only thing I can think is that I use a manual trans?? It kinda sounds like you were bit by the weight bug, but that doesn't seem likely since we were adjusting the PP each race (in my case, mostly with HP)??

Earth, absolutely no need to apologize. Turn 6 was full of cars, I thought I had an inside line, but I wasn't sure if I was too fast and was gonna blow through the apex. When we hit, that's what I figure happened. Unfortunately, PD didn't give us "Wink" mirrors, like the race cars of old, and without peripheral vision you can't always know when someone is along side. It was just a racing incident.

As to the chicane, I know better than to follow that close into the braking zone, and would have braked a tad sooner, but MajorMilou was coming up from behind and I didn't want to surprise him with early braking. It was a little bad judgement on my part, and I paid the price (although I only lost one spot, which I likely would have lost on the finish straight anyway). I race totally for the fun of it, and don't mind getting hit as long as the other guy usually makes an effort to avoid contact, and I know you're as clean as they come. 👍

Thanks for hosting this series! It has to be a ton of work, especially in light of the fact that you've been without a PS3 for a very long time! An excellent, well run event!

The results for race 1 were: 1st: TwistyBits, 2nd: snakegt40 (I think this race qualifies for points?)

Grandorifto nice to see you recorded, but not nice to see you ran into some hacks. I will start recording the races from my view next round.

heres a thought that may or may not be feasable. looking at the low numbers of racers, why not combine the race times, even if we keep the scoring seperate, like gt1 and gt2. I just think having more good people on track is a good thing.
On another track, no pun intended, i hope the animosity in the chat room last night will not be repeated. its unnessiary and uncalled for. we are not racing for a living, not for money not even for trophys. this is an exercise in fun nothing more. I've been pitched off the trac a few times and while agrivating i know its part of racing. most likely it wsnt inyentional.

Kumabar, timeattack should make the next race and increase the output,

im a bit against mixing the field this late in the game, but this problem shouldn't happen next season as the maximum entries per series will be 12 and those who are the most consistant from clubman will move up

As for the problems with the chat, im going to have a NTSC Championship chat open before each race on the PS3, im going to invite all drivers to join
