Do you guys race INDY online or Xroute? Every lobby I seem to join is just full of noobs...

Thanks for the help mate. Another Q (and possibly off specific topic) if u dont mind; Is Auto EVER better than manual in drag? eg. My GTR '12 runs 8.927 in Auto, and I dont think i'd ever be able to better that im Manual?

Also, I have a GT5 Logitech Wheel (in my cupboard as iv only used it the first few days when I bought it) is that any use for drag? for easier throttle control/gear changes? or do we go full throttle prior to launch anyway? all my GTR times are full throttle launches in auto..

Edit: Just tested the Enzo tune... I guess it's pretty similar... working off the base alone gets me slightly slower than my current Enzo... (9.085 vs my now 9.073) but I guess it was a "base" afterall. I'll work away at it tonight, hopefully shave off 0.050 within the next hour or two... :)

I can run a 8.995 with that tune.
Take of at 6000 rpm from 2nd and qs to 3rd.
Shift points are at red line. You know when the little red light for the rpm gauge turns on. That's when you shift

I'm relatively new to dragging mate, so when you say take off at 6000rpm, does that mean hold the revs at 6,000rpm and then as soon as you take off, then plant your foot to max revs (8,500rpm), or hold 6,000rpms through 2nd then quick shift and then full throttle throughout 3/4/5/6... ???

I can see it will work anyway, my Enzo wasn't broken in when I said I was only getting 9.083.. it had 905 bhp.. now it has 922bhp and I'm now getting down to 9.039 with full throttle launch... So I can easily see this getting 8.99 if I could actually use manual properly.

One last thing, I tried to use this tune online vs a (relatively slow) GTR which I know runs about the same time (of consistant 9.05s) and I tried a 2nd gear launch online and he just pulled instantly (obviously cause he's AWD) but with similar 1/4 times, I should have caught up, but he kept the gap the whole time.. and we definitely have the same average 1/4 time. Does online physics react differently to offline in a negative way? or was this probably just bad shifting, mind u, the 1/4 are the same so idk...

I appreciate the help mate.

well you should have pulled on him but this also depends on if he treed you, if you had ghost lag ect ect.

When the count down start, 3..2..1 as Soo as it says go your pin should be at 6000 when the car takes off so you gotta time it.
Also if it was a GTR 12 you lost too expect it. But if it was. A spec v then he most likely got a tree on you or ghost lag ect like KT said.

Yeah I mean, when I hold 6000rpms and take off, as soon as I take off, do I then increase rpms to full throttle before quick shifting to 3rd? Do u understand what I am meaning??
 
Oh ya of course full throttle from 2nd and right when the pin is about to hit the wall change it to 3rd

I did a 2nd gear launch and left the spring rate stock.

Wow, 8.995 was my best time with my tune! Everyone getting your base tunes should be very thankful...
 
Mine did once 8.992, But now i can't get it faster then 8.994. The tune was faster automatic so i kept it. Bad choice...

EDIT - this is about the enzo btw ^^

I don't have a capture card. My iPod touch can't take pics. And my phone doesn't have wi-fi. I don't know how to put pics from my camera on my pc. (yes that's bad :/) so is there another way to deliver proof? Probably not.

Actually i hate my phone. I don't like anything about it. HTC smart. I don't get it, it's a really weird phone. I do like my iPod but it can't take pics. My life is really hard :P

No that's manual, auto did around 9.143 i think. I changed a few things and it went to 9.137 auto. So i thought i can break my record and Maybe have the fastest enzo. :(
