Is there anyone out there planning a trip to the ring?

With PD aiming to keep the graffiti up to date, this is an awesome opportunity. Giant GTP logo anyone?

Guess who just read the comments in the news article and decided to make a post about it?

I have not read the comments section yet. I am quite sure many people have thought the same thing upon reading the news.

Problem: you don't know why Polyphony will decide enough is enough and stop updating the graffiti. For all we know, they may have already decided on it.

we will have to find a bit of track with low amounts of graffiti

Just words on a screen - mean nothing. You read the comments, saw that no thread had been created, and created one.

Nothing wrong with that, just don't give the impression that you thought of it yourself independently.

Even if you couldn't come up with a such idea.. other people may. I know I did think of it.

Seriously, what drives you to be such a pain in the arse.

It may surprise you to know that i already had the same thought, and i guess many others would have had similar thoughts too. Guess what, i didn't read the comments either.

Or, what Timppaq said. [great minds think alike].

Let us not forget your one and only thread.

Also note, i'm not actually defending nasanu as such, his recent rants in the latest news thread weren't much better.

What is your problem? Maybe it did not cross your mind when you read the news, but for most people I am sure they thought of it, as did I. Why would I try to claim otherwise? Maybe you think that thinking of such a thing independently and posting it here gives some sort of kudos..? I have no interest in such things.

I think it is great opportunity to leave our mark in GT5. Either contribute something to make that happen or stop making stupid, baseless and pointless attacks.

Hence the reason why someone who live close by should go to the ring every single day and make sure said giant GTP logo is there FOREVER! :P:P

I think it's a great idea, but isn't it... illegal :scared:

Imagine taking photo's of your [insert favourite car here] at that location :embarrassed:

I truly believe that if GT Planet members went through with this...

PD would get it in the game. We already know they listen and implement whats requested. Certainly if someone went through the trouble to do that, PD would get it in.👍

Now the question is, "what is the design?" I vote for the white colored gtplanet globe with the letters gtp in white next to it. It would look good and stand out well on the asphalt.

P.S. It needs to be on Turn 1, as you come out of the curve.

Needs to be just above the start finish line. Lol

I plan on going to the ring sometime. Problem is that it will be a lo drive from the uk.

G'day Nasanu, (hypothetically) If I lived near the 'Ring I would go over there right now and do a big huge GTP logo with the letters GTP under it. I'm sure there's someone on here that lives close by that location that will or might go ahead with it now that you've mentioned it. Good luck to them if they do, you've got my support.

As others have said, it would leave a permanent GTP mark in GT5. Nothing wrong with your idea at all. 👍

..Or I've just had a better (probably cheaper) thought.
Maybe PD could somehow put a GTP logo there without having it being graffitied.

I'm heading over to the ring on the 30th of June.

But I don't think I'll be buying any paint. Wouldn't even know where to get it from.

WHo knows maybe I'll grafiti the track with red pieces of Suzuki Swift instead.

Even if someone with no artistic talent just took a spray can and scribbled 'hello from GTP' or something. Anything would be cool.

Think about it. If PD have stated that they are going to the effort to keep it updated, I think it is implied that they want us to take action.

But that'd feel like cheating.
It's up to us to get it in the game, not Polyphony!

I might be willing to donate some money to help get someone out there to do the dirty work...

With all this talk, it better actually get done! What are the laws regarding the graffiti on the track? I'm assuming its legal because of all thats on it already, so there should be no problem leaving GTP's mark on the track :)
GET IT DONEEE!

Yeah I was wondering about the legality, I seem to remember the PD team while modelling the track made their own mark by painting names on the track (I can't find the article) and it was recreated into GT4. It must be legal.

I know PD is not rendering anything rude but will they render areas which may have other franchises such as Forza or Xbox 360 painted onto the tarmac?

Someone just print out a huge template and cut out the letters and spray through it to get the logo and font right.

Robin.

That's a really great and crazy idea.
Maybe with a tiny texte near for thank P-D crews too.
They'r K.Y AND P-D crews dont forget it.
