Nurburgring video with turn names?

I have seen many ring videos, but I am having difficulty memorizing the turn names in German. The maps don't quite cut it for me. Do you have a good resource, such as an on-board video with turn names superimposed on the screen that could help me SEE and associate the turn names with the parts of the track?

Here is the video example I found for Spa Francorchamps:

And here is a great guide example by Jarno Trulli (also for Spa):

Is there any such fantastic video / resource available for the ring?

I hated the ring. I didn't understand why everyone held it as a holy grail. I raced the races I had to there and didn't go back.

Since I saw that video of the Lupo GTI this morning it has quickly become my absolute favorite. I suck at it but I respect it now that I've seen it in action.

Mad props to the Interceptor. thanks for the link, you've opened my eyes to why everyone else worships it and most all online competitions are there.

Awesome link Interceptor, great stuff with the Lupo, didn't realize it was such a fast little thing!

WOW!! , that was swwwwet! I saved it in "my videos", too bad it doesn't show the names though; but who cares! with that video, I gained strenght back to try mission 34 again :mischievous:

Ciao....

WOW :dopey: that video with the M3 is awesome. Man, I'd love to be a real race car driver, but I'd probably have trouble remembering to use the stick for up and downshifting. That's one of the reasons why I have so much respect for race car drivers, is their ability to focus.

Video starts with the current nurburgring lap, and continues to old 'ring.

Yup -- any races that take place on the Nordschleife use part or all of the more modern GP track. The only time the Nordschleife is used by itself is on "Touristfahren" days, when tourists take to the track.

On that note, neither GT4, Enthusia, nor Forza have the starting line in the right place for a race. The place that GT4 and Enthusia start at was used a long time ago, but is no longer used as a starting point.

May not be 100% accurate, but it's still fun to hot lap the 'Ring every once and a while. Great vids guys!👍

It's good too see one with the track names, as every map seems to show a different version of the track.
