It does change the Start/Finish line to a less problematic spot, same for pit exit... But yeah, physical layout doesn't change.

One idea I was thinking was a track map might be helpful for this. For example, I wasn't sure what Suzuka South was (even after watching the video) until I looked it up. So, a trackmap for Suzuka South would be like this, which shows you the layout of the track as well as it's relation to Suzuka proper. Similarly, this is Tsukuba 1000 in comparison to the normal Tsukuba.

Just to help people visualize these variations when they might not have seen or even heard of them before.

Watching that Fuji Short Course vid, I had a sense of Deja Vú - wasn't that in GT4 under another name? It sure felt like I knew those tight corners and undulations.

Ok, added links to Google maps for most of the unknown tracks. Added a couple more videos. Deleted the Multi-course from Motegi as it was just a small parking lot, and added the go-kart track for Motegi as I didn't see it before.

No, but Motorland had a similar feeling to it.

The oval at monza is all still there, u can still drive it in its entirety, its surface is decaying due to the fact it hasn't been used for decades. Also about the Fuji banking (or what's left of it), if u go in photo mode and go town to the fence at turn one, u can see it :D
