The ZR1 that was in FM3 was an 09 and there is almost no difference between the 09 and 11.
As for the 2009 Ford #40 Robertson Racing Ford GT Mk7. That was also in FM3 as DLC.

There was a big difference between the '10 and '09 ZR1, but no difference between the '11 and '10.
Therefore there is a big difference between the '11 and '09 ZR1

2010 had launch control, over the 09

But FM doesn't implement launch control in-game. That being said in-game there wouldn't be any difference whatsoever.

The 2012 Corvettes are what you want. The '12 ZR1 has the new semi-slick PS Cup tyres along with an optional gearbox with shorter ratios, there's more info here.

But I still know that car is 2 years old. I like my cars like I like my women. Young and fast

That's what the upgrade section is for. Both of those are easily correctable in FM.

Why put a new Camaro?
You can just upgrade the 69

Wow, really?

No, seriously, are you really going down that road?

There is a huge difference between generation changes and year changes. The Corvette has only added an assist that no games model, some semi-slick tires and different gear ratios, the last 2 are usually the first things changed in the upgrade process.

Yup, but it's in rough terms pretty much what he's said. They've just added some assists, better tyres and possibly power steering. Whoopdedo.

I'd prefer a 2012 Z06 over a 2006 Z06, especially if it was a Z07 optioned Z06.

Come on now. You know that's not even close to the same thing. The upgrade section has the option for close ratio 6-speed trans and better tires. Its that simple. You can never make the 69 Camaro like the new one through the upgrade section. I can't believe I actually addressed that silly comment.

It's the principle.
People complained when they had 08 LMP cars, so I'm complaing that they have outdated cars, when newer versions of the same car is out, whether you want it or not, they should try to give us some new versions of these cars.

Production cars don't go through nearly as many yearly changes as race cars do.

It seems the only thing you have done since joining is complain.

I am hoping for the Viper ACR-X!

I hope the 1966 MKii GT40 returns, IMO it deserves a spot in Autovista, the one that is already taken by the GT if need be.

And the other FM3 Ford GT40's for reference

What's the deal with not upgrading to a newer ZR-1? I'd rather see them add something new than just tweek an existing car to a newer spec... I mean, people complained when you had 20 versions of the same car in GT5 (like the Skylines), why complain abozut T10 not doing the same, by implementing road cars that differ in some very minor details only?

Oh, and on the LMP bit: Look up the the Audi R15, R15+ and the R18. Little time, big differences between the cars.

184 posts in less than 20 days... Seems I'm not the one with the problem.

You are visibly upset.
It's the summer and I have a broken leg.
What else am I gonna do?

I guess, but its a moot point, I guess your right.
I'd rather see a 2011 zr1 than a 2 year old zr1 thats probally ported from fm3.
But whatever.

Well, yeah, getting the most recent of each model would of course be cool, but there's just better things to focus on, in my opinion.

After all, I'd rather have a 2009 ZR-1 and a 2011 C63 Black Edition (for example) than a 2009 ZR-1 and a 2011 ZR-1...

Liking the Impala, even if I do have more favoured, different, year models.

I am with ZR1 Chris. While the ZR1 is indeed my favorite car ever, I see no reason to completely remodel the same car, same body, same interior, same hp, when we can just tune it to match the latest performance figures. This allows them to add NEW cars.

If that was the case, they might as well just remodel EVERY single car AGAIN with the newest year.

Now had it gone to a C7 ZR1, you can bet your ass they should have gone with that :)
