The M635CSi will be there? My resistance has officially been broken...
Now tell me I can have the E30 M3 Convertible as well and it would be perfect :)

I don't know why everyone's cryin' over Porsche....even without them, FM4 has a better car lineup than GT5.

Whether it does or doesn't will usually come down to personal preference but why wouldn't people be pissed? The brand has been in every itteration of Forza since 1 on the original xbox, growing in numbers through each new version, used as incentives on a number of occasions including a holiday gift, and with FM4... personally the ALMS sponsorship without Porsche is like having NASCAR without Chevy, WRC without Subaru, or F1 without Ferrari.

Which HSV proceeded to obliterate with the Maloo,:sly: and in all honesty the Ram was probably never the fastest, just that the Maloo had never made an official run at it. And I don't know if you count it, but El Caminos and even more importantly, Aussie sports utes, well and truly pre-date that Little Red Express Truck.;)

Edit: Aww hell yeah, forget the bland sedans, the coolest BMW (all IMO;)) ever made is in today. The 1986 M635CSi.

Sounds like this in race trim. (Not the greatest vid, but shows it in action at Bathurst)

You Mean that Aussie Trash!:yuck: From GM that was basically a car, and not a real truck, I guess much like the el camino there based off of yeah not that impressed, talk to me when they come back and take the record in a real truck...:sly: anyways what this about a new BMW in Forza 4

I'am a Muscle Car Guy but this, I can deal with, Transporter or 007 Style I'm feelin it.

Im pretty sure if I remember correctly thats not how it works. The only way to get those cars is by preordering from a particular store.

That's stupid. The only way that would work would be to send different versions of the game to each retailer, each with their respective pre-order bonus car...or make none of the pre-order cars available in the game except for entering a code packaged in the box which makes the most sense. That would piss off a lot of people though. I doubt that's how it works. I know I'll be pissed if I can't buy a CRZ just because I bought the game from Gamestop.

I hope there are convertibles in Forza Motorsport 4 :)

ie. Mazda MX-5
Forza 3 has a few convertibles so I am sure F4 will also. In fact there is an older Ferrari convertible that and the exhaust sounds VERY good while driving that car from the inside view. They did an excellent job with the audio in the convertibles in F3.

In Transporter and Tomorrow Never Dies, they used a E38 7 series, though :D

The retailers just receive vouchers. These vourchers can be handed out to the customers. And on these vouchers, there are codes that you can use to then download your preorder car.

And that's how it works, I'm afraid. It's not the first time that something like this happens.

True, but I'm not crazy about the newer BMWs tho, I miss the boxi-ness of the older styles, Its Amazing you new exactly what 007 Movie I was talking about
Haha, yeah, dunno, when comes to BMWs, I guess I'm a bit of a fanboy, so I now a few of their more popular appearences

But now that you've mentioned it, the E38 would be nice for some Transporter-style chases around Fujimi Kaido.

Edit:
Now, the drifter can be happy, too :dopey:
The FM.net forums should be a huge mess right about now.

Guess I'll have to take a look at FM.net's drift lounge
People around there have always been acting like the 240 is the only car that could go sideways

Ah, good times, good times. So T10 does listen, to the drifters as well. Even with Porsche not in there, the car list is shaping up to be pretty darn good.

Well, in the drift world It's a huge car.
Cheap, easy to mod, can drift basically stock.

In video games, especially in when you want to drift having the S13 is important.

I know it's important, I was just joking. It's not been an issue around here, but in other places, I almost expected people to bring torches and pitchforks because T10 didn't offer the car as DLC

I ment a convertible that doesnt have the roof always up.

OMG! 240SX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

And Suzuki?!

THIS IS HEAVEN!

T10 knew how to handle their PR today; in one hand they have to give the bad news about Porsche, in the other they announce the seemingly most requested car yet. Well played.

That shot of the 240sx sideways really, really excites me. And the Suzuki HAD to be in it for the top gear challenge. Most cool.

Loss of Porsche is fairly well devastating to be honest. I don't even like Porsche, but it's a blow for the series and we are less one of the most prominent and respected car companies ever. Anyone who cannot see that needs to take their blinkers off.

Well played indeed. I guess most drifters will be talking about nothing else for the next few days

Yup, me too. Mostly because of that nice amount of body roll.

I wouldn't mind RUF so much if they didn't alter the looks beyond what would look Porsche-esque, but as far as I'm aware, they don't make anything that looks as track-ready as a GT3 RS. They seem more for show.

I doubt it. Thursdays are usually all shown on FM.net's Thurday's Forza Garage which is where this info came from.

Maybe the car just isnt going very fast. I know I have seen plenty of smoke as compared to FM3 in allot of the FM4 videos already.
GT5 Owns Forza 3 in Smoke, I have feeling it will own Forza 4 as well, My Challenger SRT8 makes a beautiful smoke show in GT5 Replays .....:sly:

Although it may still not be as good as GT5 you can see it has improved over FM3 by a substantial amount.
1:34 mark and beyond is where most of the smoke scenes are.

So you're telling me that since I pre-ordered from Gamestop, there is no way I will be able to buy a CRZ in game? If that's the case, that is incredibly stupid. Like I said before, all the cars should be in the game and you just get a code to get your pre-order bonus car for free.

Just be careful to not get any inbetween your car and the camera :sly:
But, yeah, as far as the amount of smoke goes, GT5 deliveres more.

Luckily, I'm more of a grip driver myself...

I'm fairly certain that's how it's going to end up - that's why it's called DLC, not freeby or anything..

I know, it sucks. Mostly, because I ordered at Gamestop, too, and am now stuck with a Alfra Romeo Giulietta Something Something... And I'm too stingy to buy another code off of ebay

If they at least offer all the pre-order bonus cars as DLC from the get go then I'll be fine with that. I want my CRZ dammit! Not some Alfa something-or-other.
