If they at least offer all the pre-order bonus cars as DLC from the get go then I'll be fine with that. I want by CRZ dammit! Not some Alfa something-or-other.
I'm still hoping that Gamespot will have more than one car to chose from. With GT5, they weren't suppose to have different ones, either (at least not around here), but I could still chose from all the different preorder cars.

Well, we'll see, I guess.

You Mean that Aussie Trash!:yuck: From GM that was basically a car, and not a real truck, I guess much like the el camino there based off of yeah not that impressed, talk to me when they come back and take the record in a real truck...:sly: anyways what this about a new BMW in Forza 4

Us Australians invented the ute (or truck as you call it) so we be the ones who decides what is and what isn't one.

I'm not really trying to offend, but I don't have any idea what ute is? but that vehicle appears to based of the zeta platform which was holden/monaro over there and GTO/ Pontiac GTP/ newer camaro platforms over here.... Which all appear to be cars and not trucks, As far as I know Henry Ford Created the first Pickup Truck off a Model T in 1925, if the Aussies Beat him to it Prove it !, By the Way I Love Zoe Bell/ Lucy Lawless :sly: who are both from Australia I believe.

Aussie trash that will walk all over your American cargo haulers and still carry a load that will diminish any sedan/wagon/hatch's capacity.:sly: Oh, and please don't EVER say the Holden Ute is based off an El Camino ever again.:ouch: They were two completely separate vehicles.
The Ute is a "Coupe Utility", as described by most websites, that original Model T based pick-up was a soft top thing. It all came about because an Australian farmer's wife wanted a car that could take here to church on Sunday and the pigs to market on Monday. It took off from there.

The Monaro/GTO was never Zeta based.

Good luck with that ;)

The Monaro/GTO was never Zeta based.

He was probably thinking about the Pontiac G8/Camaro/Holden Commodore VE/UTE/WM trio.

GT5 Owns Forza 3 in Smoke, I have feeling it will own Forza 4 as well, My Challenger SRT8 makes a beautiful smoke show in GT5 Replays .....:sly:
Well yeah because it only has 200 premuim (finished) cars. It allows them to put the rest of the processing power into more smoke.....with jagged lines. I will take all the many features in Forza over some jagged tire smoke and only 200 finished cars any day.

Low blow I know but this is not the Forza vs GT thread. Keep those troll comments over here. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=209534

From what I have seen Forza 4 only has a little bit more tire smoke than F3. So dont expect much of an improvement in that department. More smoke would be nice but I am fine with what we have for now. At least Forza 4 finally has 16 cars in multiplayer instead of 8. I will take that over tire smoke any day. :)

I know, it sucks. Mostly, because I ordered at Gamestop, too, and am now stuck with a Alfra Romeo Giulietta Something Something... And I'm too stingy to buy another code off of ebay
Yup I wanted the Subaru impreza from Amazon but since I ordered from Gamestop thats 2 miles from my house, I also get the Alfa Romeo. Oh well I will still appreciate a free car. I am sure we will be able to get those other pre-order cars one way or another.

Warthog in but only in Autovista.

Feel gutted for you Shouden.
I thought ALL the Autovista vehicles were drivable? :dunce: If we cant drive the car then it really shouldnt even be included in the car list IMO.

Honestly if we cant drive a car, it should not be in the game. That would be like saying "Hey Forza 4 does have Porsche but you can only LOOK at the cars in Autovista mode. You cant drive them".

Here are the pics.

I wouldn't begrudge them having there wishes.

The Warthog vehicle design to be used in Halo 4 is buried deep within upcoming Xbox 360 exclusive racing game Forza 4.

It's viewable in Forza 4's "Autovista" mode, Wired reports. Images are below.

You can use motion-sensing add-on Kinect to move around the model of the Warthog, which Microsoft describes as an Easter Egg.

AI Cortana will narrate and tell stories about the vehicle's prowess, apparently. You can't drive it, though.

Halo 4, announced at E3 in June, is set to launch on the Xbox 360 next year. It's in development at Microsoft's internal Halo developer, 343 Industries.

Looks like the Warthog wont actually be classified as a vehicle so thats not so bad. I just didnt want them saying they had 500 cars in the game when technically it was only 499. But since they are not including this in the car list, then I am also fine with it as an easter egg.

BTW the 500 is only an example.

Really?

Good luck with that ;)

I would only ever talk about performance on a circuit of course, otherwise I'd just be talking monster trucks.

He was probably thinking about the Pontiac G8/Camaro/Holden Commodore VE/UTE/WM trio.

I know he was, but he included the Monaro/GTO and I made the correction. No harm in a little extra knowledge.

Ah, well then yes. I agree.

otherwise I'd just be talking monster trucks.

But our full size trucks for hauling are not monster trucks. The F150/250/350 and Silverado 1500/2500/3500 are all street trucks purchased by our average consumers.

True.

I want to drive the warthog...and I don't even like halo!

There's gonna be a lot like you.

Maybe we can start the level 150 warthog experience rumour.

FTFY.

I'm sorry, but I just couldn't resist that one. Americans and trucks* and all...

*Just wanted to point out that this isn't intended to be racist or anything.

Like the GT5 lvl40 damage rumour?

Imagine kids with matchsticks in there eyes playing for 2 years, only stopping for the toilet.

Wheres my Warthoooooog.

I know why they can't make it drivable though, because the Warthog has 4 wheel steering, the engine weren't coded with that possibility in mind.

Its been confirmed there will be 650+ cars at release.

Oops, didnt see that it was an example.

Once Again Stand Corrected, on both issues "Coupe Utility" still appears to be a car with a bed, sorry for the el camino reference.

I hear ya, I don't really Drift even if the smoke is aliased, I admire, GT5 Tire Smoke, Night and Weather Alone if not just for the replays. I'm with ya the 16 players sounds great for multiplayer, lets hope they're working just as hard on fixin that whack drag racing mode from Forza 3.
