I hope I caan sell some of them for some quick cash influx, though. THere's stuff I'm way more interested in than the cars that can be gotten for having them in FM3 or for being at a given driver level...
It might be like FM3, where when you get a free car from driver level, its worth 100 credits if sold with a level 0 car level.

They are special cars that you need to win from Turn-10 employees or buy on the auction house in-game. Turn-10 will put them up on the auction house for a bid amount.

Let it be known I am very pissed the beautiful Audi R18 TDI prototype car is not in this list. I don't get it. How can you claim to be an ALMs official racing game and leave out that gorgeous prototype car.
I'm sitting in front of my TV this weekend watching Petit Lemans which was endorsed heavily by FM 4 btw- and just wondering what is up.
I think they dropped the ball on prototype cars am I wrong? I recall driving all those prototypes in FM 3 from that list
I get it. I get it, prototype cars are obviously not as popular as road cars & supercars the writing is on the wall but this sucks

So if you raise the car level, they increase in value then? If so, is that just for the gifted cars or is it for every car you own?

Patience. They have a year of DLC coming our way....watch for the ALM additions to the game

Well, now its "affinity of manufacturer" level, so I don't really know now.
I do know that if you reach level 5 affinity level with a manufacturer you get free parts from them.

Yes, we are aware of all how upset everyone is that some car or some manufacture isn't in the game. We've been through this a gazillion times and the end result is that no one actually cares what cars you want in. We all have the cars we wish were in the game, but for some messed up reason, Turn10 or PD or whoever didn't have the time, energy, money, what 🤬 ever to model EVERY car in the world. No one's going to change your diaper. If you want some milk and cookies...well, we'll give you the cookies maybe, but not the milk 'cause we don't want you crying over it if you spill it.

Did you ever ask for that car in the Forza request forum on Forzamotorsport.net?? If you didn't then you have no one to blame but yourself. If you did, I want to the see the link proving you requested that car. The majority of the cars people ask for, are put into Forza one way or another. So if you did ask for the car, wait patiently and it could be put into the game as DLC or even put into F5. If you ask enough, T10 will eventually put it into the game. Every car I have requested has been put into the series one way or another. Well I do wish they would remove the vinyl top from the 69 Camaro. Still hoping they eventually do that.

So, it's dawning on me now that some people are going to have a ridiculously filled garage as soon as they load up the game...
26 DLC cars (though I imagine the Muscle Car pack won't put them in your garage immediately), plus FM3 Driver Level bonuses (I'll probably only be up to Level 30 by then), and the certain carry-over cars from FM3 too? Progress is going to be brisk, especially with the over-easy (in my opinion) jaunt to free upgrades with manufacturer affinity.

It's not about earning the right to drive.

Pretty much play it as you want to. Customise it to your style and have freedom.

I have about 75 cars set up for B class in F3. Its my favorite class. 👍
Now that they have improved the tire physics and traction, I can see myself tuning some more A class and maybe S class in F4.
