Come on Kaz write something! Even if it's your breakfast or something!

Surprised they haven't done anything with Toyota and the FT1 yet, seeing as that may become September's 'car of the month' with the VGT & Graphite versions coming 'that month'.

Then again, PD doesn't have the best track-record with 'on-time' releases (Redbull races for example)

Maybe that'll come in October :D

Nah, I think they'll keep the september schedule, they didn't fail us with the VW, Aston and Nissan VGTs.

Are we not going to get DLC for August? Is this the first month we've not gotten anything?

It's not the first month, february and April no? And i think we will get an update this month, I bet on Friday the 29th

Personally, I don't believe we'll get anything else this month. I think that most of the development studios stopped for some days due to the DDoS attack at PSN...

Firstly, this video needs to be painstakingly translated by translator-san. Then that challenge made by Dan Greenawalt will need to be considered by Kaz as to whether it is important or highly requested enough and whether he has the spare time away in his busy schedule from game making, racing cars and kicking trees, then passed on to the technical team for analysis. This includes a lot of studying but not limited to water temperatures, amount of ice cubes available, whether they have a satisfactory size and type of device that will contain the water and the placement of the participants. This will also need approval from Sony as it may break their Health and Safety regulations.
Most importantly, it will need to mulled over as to who Kaz will need to challenge and how much he is going to donate to the charity. The conclusion will need to be passed back to Kaz, then on to translator-san for painstaking translation back into English.

This is not something where you could drop what you're doing for 5 minutes and film a quick video, the translations need to be perfect so that they cannot be misinterpreted by the original challenger (Dan Greenawalt), and the technical team will need a lot of time to make sure that they can give Kaz the information accurately.

Though the challenge is supposed to performed within 24 hours, it is more likely we'll be seeing a response around November after everyone has forgotten about it.

Yeah. Not to mention, by the whole Japanese spirit, the water thrower have to be ONE person because he would be know the precise water characteristics. Imagine the mess if it was by multiple peoples.

It also has a teamwork by Evian because that would be unrealistic if they go along with Bud Light and Budweiser.

I don't get that ice bucket challenge...so you get cold...how is that a challenge? Why not do the cinnamon challenge? Or hot sauce? Or just something truly challenging...

We should get back on topic with this thread, and since the blog hasn't been updated in weeks, I don't really see a need for this thread having been bumped....

It's to raise awareness for ALS, a nerve disease that shuts down voluntary muscle movement and leads to total paralysis. You're actually supposed to donate along with dumping ice water on your head, somewhere along the line some people began to change the "and" to an "or".

The dousing in cold water is actually one of the forms of treatment for the disease, as it stimulates the affected nerves to an extreme. So that's part of how it started... There's documentaries all around to explain in better detail.

I know why people are doing it and the connection with ALS. I just don't get how that's challenging.
