Okay guys, this is the official thread of the GTP Challenge ...

Omnis Vs. Suzuki
Deadline: Saturday, December 18th, 2004 Midnight

Here are the judges for this challenge:
Swift-----------------IDM
Delphic Reason-----IDM
Forced Induction----None
Sheron-----------------IDM
NK4E------------------PDR

Your video must not contain your name, or any way to identify who's video it is (to promote fairness in judging).... Instead, use the number that has been assigned to you (via PM), by the head judge...

When you want to turn in your entries, please upload it to either Pergatory's FTP or 19XX's FTP (or any FTP of your choice) and only give the head judge the link to the videos, and as soon as they are evaluated, the links will be made public to promote fairness in these challenges.

When the video is uploaded please PM the head judge [DelphicReason] with the link of the video... and post in the thread that your video is uploaded so the judges will know to check there PMs...


The video must include the steering wheel, speedometer, T times, and lap time.

Good luck gentlemen. This being a FR battle I believe it's more of a level playing field.

I think this will be a very good battle if effort is put in on both sides.

They can use either Trueno... The normal AE86, or the AE86 Shuichi Shigeno (SS) Version...

Fun Fact: Shuichi Shigeno is the creator of Initial D (Anime)... The SS version in GT3 is a representation of the Trueno from the series (complete with Group A (TRD) racing engine, carbon fiber hood, and identical rims from the series) ... The only things missing are the fog lights and "Fujiwara Tofu Ten" written on the side...

Learn something new everyday... So, technically, it says "Fujiwara Tofu Ten", which translates to "Fujiwara Tofu Shop" (not store)... Well, it's always nice to learn something new... Thanks for the heads up...

I think it's a good thing. Though a lot of work on DR and other judges. It keeps members interested and the forums more active and fresh. I can't wait to see the next 4-way challenge! 👍

ya, i cant wait for the 4 way! that should be really intresting! and im sure it is hard on the judges, but the ones who do score the vids, are doing a good job under the pressure.
i know DR has been busy with that lately..

i'm back.

that was some cool stuff. we sang with disney's pro choir and their 50-piece orchestra. the conductor guy did a bunch of stuff for their movies as well. we watched their firework show, which was just too brilliant, and then went home and spent the next day at the magic kingdom.

yep...anyway, enough about disney and stuff. i will work on the challenge.
