Good thinking but the leaderboard does the L2+L3 math itself so there's no need to post that.
There's not too much laptime posting so I think for now I don't have to 'activate' the leaderboard updaterer team

Is that link possibly to an incorrect leaderboard?

I ask because posts back to at least #241 have not been updated and the 2 lap times are not totaled together.

Just curious, I know its going to be hard to keep up with possibly hundreds of entries.

This is the best 💡 evarrrr ............. . No wonder people drink and drive in this game. Here's my current setup and times using a hybrid of Grim's PP setup, my chassis setup, and nd4holdenspd's gearbox:

-25, 85%, R1, 0, -20/-20, 9/8, 6/7, -.18/+.05, 1.6/2.0, 7/5, 40, 1, 1, 2.308, 1.664, 1.270, .998, .818, .692, 4.453

The car handles better lower for me so I used Grim's ride height and then tweaked the rest based on what feels good to me. The gearbox settings you both posted are pretty close to one anothers. This one has better acceleration than my first attempt. I had basically ignored 1st and 2nd gear in my setup. I did change the final since I haven't found a need for more than 180mph on the final banking. Maybe I should be carrying more speed there. But, so far I haven't.

The leaderboard has now been revamped so that L2 and L3 times are now added up and the ranking is now based on the total for the combined laps.
Do not edit your laptimes when a 'leaderboard updated' message has been posted but make a new post instead 👍

Unfortunately still some competitors do not mention their division and/or device when posting times. If your name is displayed in black the division info is missing. For multilappers the leaderboard regretfully always displays the controller as '?'.
Please take the trouble to add division and device info in your signature so that it is automatically displayed in your post.

If you posted laps but are not on the list, please post them again as I can't keep browsing thru the thread.
The 'tuning' line in the leaderboard includes the number of the last post that has been updated in that version of the board.

Sorry for any overlooked posts but time is limited and the number of posts seems not

Very nice laptimes, mate.
I've just finished my best time so far. On lap 2 I'm just .3 seconds slower, which is quite OK, but my last lap was 1'54.0 .

hmm intresting looks like nd 4 holden spd setup is paying off,I'll have to give it ago, not really improving my times with my setup.

Arrrgh this is a frustrating one... compared to all the buzzy tuned cars the low rumbling AM is inaudible so I'm finding it really hard to hear how much throttle I'm applying or whether the tyres are squealing!

Imagine what it's like for them as their car is nearly shaken off the road by the power, torque and growl of that mighty V8.

uk86ze is just ahead of me, but I feel pretty confident with my first lap, which was quite easily driven better than the later 2, especially lap 3 I made a couple of mistakes.

I was wondering why it didn't show that I use G25. Oh well, glad it's sorted by the total of the 2 laps now, thanks for your effort.

Man I'm so cheeved right now, I had just completed a stunning lap 1 when you know how the Elises always seem to outbrake themselves in sector 1? One of the stupid bastardos came from way back, rammed me up the hind quarters and voided my race. Now I'm sorry but that is crap.

No problem Right I've used this setup Default tune except for

477HP / -13
1422 / 99%

And I've used your tune setup aswell, and I think yours is a good setup and I will stick to that one because I feel that I can improve my times with your setup,thanks again. 👍

Great times.

Your tune is very similar to my latest - max weight to get max horsepower. In my opinion the majority of the time is gained in the slipstream and on the straights so it's power that you need - great minds think alike I use a five speed gear box to keep the wheelspin in check and I'm happy with this now so I just need to look at tweaking the suspension next.

I had a good run with the AI last night and more or less nailed lap 1. I could have done a bit better on the other laps but I still improved my personal best by whole seconds rather than tenths.

I played this for over 6 hours last night and couldn't manage one fully clean race - some solid times, but small infractions on every one. Sadly, I am going to try one more time tonight and then give up because at this point I only have 2 curse words left to throw at the AI and when I run out of those I generally realize that it is time to move on to something else.

I had come to the exact same realization about max power last night and it does work well, now I just need to avoid the walls and the AI for 3 stinkin laps!

Partly agree but it won't work. Everybody has a differnt driving style so some may not be able to adjust and then there's others who will still use their own tunes as you can't tell what kind of tune they will be driving.
