That's why I am looking to trade a nice garage for a house in Paleto Bay.

Quite a few GTP players have taken residence in Paleto Bay for the same reason.
I sold my house for a 10 car garage while I was upgrading and modifying for races. May consider going back to Paleto Bay or get a garage in Sandy Shores now I've got my cars modded and sorted for keeps.

How does one go through the process of selling their home?
I'd like to get out where I'm at now (eclipse towers) and wondering how to sell. Do I need to purchase a house first to sell my current residence?

You can't actually sell one, you just click on a new property to buy and then choose which of yours you want to trade. You either pay the difference, or in your case (Eclipse Towers) any profit will be added to your bank.

Actually, you can downgrade and keep your cars. The mechanic has them in storage in some faraway place in Never-Never Land. Just call him and have it delivered.

soo... theoretically, I can destroy them all and hit up Mors and call the ones I want in the garage? I'd still like to have a 10 car but a six is fine.

It's cheaper just to pull the cars out of storage you want in your garage and swap them out. I did this with my first 6 car but miscalculated my sales and ended up needing to swap back to a 10 car to get my storage back.

Strangely, unlike most others in the CST timezone, I usually get on GTA between 8am-3pm due to the fact that I work from home and can play in between small lulls in the day easier and more often than after the kids go to bed at night. I'm guessing this probably puts me more in sync with European players than US

At any rate, it sure would be nice to play online with others that aren't constantly laughing at killing me over and over and over and.....

I also play alot while the wife is at work and the kids are at school. Usually between 11am-4pm mountain time. So, we'll probably run into each other in game.
