Yeah, Katie, you shouldn't drink Monster. One day you're going to be in college and you'll need it. But if you keep going hard on the stimulants, what good is it going to do you? You'll drink so much you'll start throwing arrhythmias.
And arrythmias are bad, mmmkay. Trust me, I know. So does Dion.
I'd probably be dead if they made energy drinks when I was a teen. My friend and I would burn through a case of Mt Dew in a night, and those were just caffeine and sugar without the other stimulants they add.
I think I've said this before but I'll say it again. I don't drink that much Monster, really. I have at most three cans in a week. I drink my Monster like my parents drink their alcohol. I don't drink it during the week, I'll usually just have a can on a Friday night when my parents start drinking and then a can or two on Saturday. It's very rare that I do have more than one can in a night, because I make them last the duration. I'm not a crazed Monsterholic that drinks 5 cans a day! I just really love the drink.
At a minimum, consider the sugar free versions. Even at the rate you drink it, they have way more sugar than is healthy.
I'm suddenly glad you aren't Dion's daughter. There'd be a shortage of Monster.
I drink up to ten cans of Coke some days. I'm nowhere near a big Coke fan, just get through a lot of sugar to keep me going. My teeth have paid the price.
This is how I drink my soft drinks now. With the exception of cola, ginger ale, and Dr. Whatever (too complex) I make all mine from scratch, like that red cream syrup on the left. No processed sugar, no sodium, and half are all natural fruit bases. For laziness purses though I often just use Kool-Aid.
And it is far cheaper than buying cans.
And Katie, every time you talk about Bruiser I think about my dog.
