God bless the Italians sometime soon they will be raising the speed limits on there autostradas to about 90mph ish realising AT LAST that travelling at a more brisk pace increases concentration rather than falling asleep with cruise control set to 70:D :D
very true. maybe the authorities will gain some braincells and focus on REAL crime like street muggings and gangs before turning to the otherwise innocent speeders... rather than speed being the most dangerous thing on the road i believe it is drunk drivers and tired drivers, but it looks like only the itallians and germans realise that at the moment. though if u've been to italy u'll realise that they don't give a monkeys' about speeding. we overtook a police car there at 100mph on the autostrada, they didn't care.

and ur last comment about speeding increases concentration is definitely true. its a major cause for concern for truck drivers who have engines limited to 60mph. they sit there for hours cruising at 60mph with their foot flat on the accelerator.

lets not forget the reason we have speedlimits here in england, its thanks to the shelby cobra! :D that and a woman traffic minister who hated cars and clearly didn't own one herself. oh well! :(

That's great. I mean our newest car is 10 years old. By the time this actually happens, we will have gone through many many more cars, and enjoy passing people with ease, not like that's a problem now, we end up passing people even if we have to go 125mph. :)

What would be hilarious is watching one of these Skodas with the limiter off go top speed, then switch it on. Watch the car wreck. It's brilliant.
