Here is a shovel, it can be used for digging that hole even deeper or to remove the bull **** from my screen.

So explain it?
Well, y'see, it's a sorta misleading thing.

Not a "proper" dev, but an indie dev for a 3 man company making a PC game.

And by proper, I mean working for a subsidiary of a publisher or working with a publisher.

Why am i tagged here?
I don't think it's time to tell details about our project...

Is it super secret serious business?

An indie dev is just as much as a developer as a guy working on a AAA title.

But for a project such as this..?

I dunno.

I know, why I said "proper". That's what people see the phrase as in general

No,but telling everything to people before release is stupid move.
Someone may copy it
They won't...

Fine. I'll end it all right here. My dad and I did buy it yesterday. However, it's his after the month of July. Ok? It's under my dad's name. It's not mine.

Me and my girlfriend went and bought something yesterday, too. We bought tampons. They are both equally ours.
Lmao that killed me when I read that!! Most funny thing I have heard all day.

Okay at least he proved me right and admitted it wasn't his car. I applaud him for that. So the C7 subject we can just move on from. Not his no big deal. Awesome that is his dads though. Very awesome.

As for the developer part. Thats for the rest of you to discuss. I don't know much about that process at all.

The least of the worries should be that people might possibly copy the work that's already been copied/ripped from whoever created it.

I dunno man, the game itself seems fishy.

"Everyone! It is confirmed that I myself will be getting licenses from the following manufactures to use in-game: Ford, Dodge, Toyota, and RUF! We will contact more after we get the documents from these!"

"How did I do it? I emailed the manufacturer through their website, then called them about which cars that I want to use, then they approved and sent me licensed documents that contain the words "If any vehicle model shall be used in a virtual world, you must present these at any given time."

Surely if it was that simple, pretty much every Flash game maker would simply go all out and send a quick e-mail if they wanted a real car in their game.

Aren't all of your models ripped from other peoples worked already? It's a bit rich to be scared about people copying copied work.
u ok,buddy?
It seems mast of you have nothing to do and a nice butthurt :D
Make something by yourself, before judjing anybody else.

Remember Redline racing?Juju haven't done anything since build 07.
He made a pretty strange move by buying shaders, but not buing Unity pro.
I'm working for 3 weeks on a game and it already looks much better.

Never knew we had a ludicrous claims thread in the first place... lol

Welcome to a whole new world of fun and embarrassment.

You were awfully quick to resort to name calling at the slightest degree of questioning.

If it's not too much, I have another question to ask - if you can hold it all together.

Are you okay?

Also, "I'd like to see you do better" is never a valid response to criticism.

Licensing cars for games is both a financial and literal minefield for everyone. Look at PD, a hugely known developer, and the troubles with the F2007 and F10.
