I'm not sure if I'm allowed to copy PMs but he basically said to me that his sisters car uses nitrous oxide to get to 200mph. Yeah right. He denied my request for him to respond to this thread by saying that he "doesn't care".

I'm not sure about you guys but these claimers really piss me off. He's never going to hear the end of this until he gives me some proof.

This has me rolling, the whole thread really. I worked at a tuning shop (still help out on saturdays some times) and it just brings me back to all the fun tales people would tell me there.
I really enjoyed the guy with the rx7 that does "200mph down the highway with ease," I'm not an expert in anything and especially aerodynamics but wouldn't an rx7 essentially begin flying at that speed?
Anyway thanks for the laughs guys, I cannot believe it took me this long to find this thread.

Oh and I have an 88 Jeep YJ that can do 200 MPH... if I shoved it off a cliff. Actually with the drag coefficient of my Jeep I bet even then it'd have a hard time doing 65 mph


Also kudos to this forum as a whole, I'm on a few Subaru forums, jeep forums, a few video game forums and this is the ONLY one where I've actually moderators enforce this part of the AUP. Fantastic to see it's actually taken seriously here.

On a forum a while back I was actually accused of lying about the car I owned (03 WRX) I didn't make any extravagant power claims or anything either so i thought it was weird to be called out, weirdest part was it was on the message boards of the shops website that I worked at. When the guy came in for work I showed him my car as proof. Just a little anecdote that nobody wanted.

My dad has a 620 bhp Infiniti G37s Coupe. It's modded. Does 0-60 in 3.4 seconds and does the 1/4 in 11.3 seconds at 140 mph. It isn't for drag lol but it has potential to go over 200 mph. I call it the GTR for less lol

My mom has a 2008 BMW 328i E92 with 400 hp. Does 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and does the 1/4 in 12.4 seconds at 129 mph.
