They probably just want to impress people and be the big shot on the forum.

If big shot = doofus, then yes.

Current and last page. Couple of GT-Rs, and a guy that has had just about every performance Nissan of the past ten years. Either way, if they are legit, more power to them. Just have to question the big money cars, real or not.

Pictures seem genuine. As in, they're all of the same car.

But we always have to be weary with a big, expensive car like that. Perhaps request the standard 'picture with GTP and username on a piece of paper please'.

MCNAGTROC is telling the truth unless it's someone impersonating him. He's well known on other Nissan forums & a co-founder of NAGTROC, iirc.

We had an imposter on IndyCarz claiming to own a GTR. He carried out His story up until he was called out to race another guy in his new GTR. This guy Dave goes out to meets and is known. The other guy nobody has met.

So in comes the real owner and holy crap they shared the same name. This dude went to NAGTR site and mirrored the real owner. He did a good job. The new owner said if wasn't for his mannerism he would thought he got drunk and posted on our forum. He said was so surreal. Anyway real owner provided plenty of proof and imposter got the ban stick.

So with that I'd expect proof or their lying.

Very nice. As to the GTR's in the Ohio area, I have seen 4 of the newer R35 or36 variety that I can remember off the top of my head, and personally know of a very angry R32 Right Hand Japanese imported GTR that lives very close to me as well. So they do exist here, but certainly are not common.

Just remembered, I've got a Play Station. Yes, not the PS1 or other sorts, the Original Play Station from the mid 90's. Serial number 30, I believe.

I've called him out on it and have yet to hear anything from him in the thread it's from.

I'm having some doubts on this one. Person has "Toronto" for their location, which is located in the province of Ontario. The license plate on the GT-R is from the province of Alberta, though. So not too sure...

He might mean the SKU number - the 2nd gen consoles in Japan (with the same hardware revision as launch consoles elsewhere) were SCPH-3001. Which would mean he'd need a Japanese console, of course.

I've got an original PlayStation too, though it's a SCPH-5001 model.

Edit: More accurately, mine are an SCPH-5552 (Revision C hardware, 3.0 BIOS) and an SCPH-7001 (Revision C hardware, 4.1 BIOS) original grey models.

I saw that and thought it was a little fishy, and as far as I've found, went to high school in Toronto too. The plates were too small to see for sure, but based on red text, was either Alberta, or North Carolina, though the background didn't seem to fit NC. Plates aren't Ontario plates though. He at least hosted those pictures, and they seem relatively consistent. I don't know, I didn't do much digging.

Am I right in thinking this guy is full of it?

Because the pictures he used weren't even his and taken almost a year ago. His signature says 2012 yet the pictures are of a 20111 from what I found. Apparently that is a one of a kind s4, USA wise.

Also, the engine bay he posted on forzaplanet( http://www.forzaplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=10141#post10141 ) is from a WHITE 2011 car with a red interior and belongs to someone in NEW YORK ( http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/412768-2011-Audi-B8-S4-Blog-thread ) while the outside pictures are of a silver 2011 linked above.

eSZee

LOL I find this funny. Yeah the engine pic is from Google. And I'm not sure if you know this but most car company release car with the model a year late. For example, I got the car in 2011 but it's labeled as a 2012. I can back this up with pics if anyone cares. Also I find it funny how you waste time in your life to see if someone on the internet is lying or not. Pathetic to be honest.

So why don't you post a picture of your car with a piece of paper with your username on it? Then nobody will doubt you. Otherwise, people will continue to doubt you, especially with that attitude.

Pathetic to be honest.
What's pathetic is the number of people who lie about owning something in an attempt to impress us. Either provide the requested photo with a piece of paper and your name, admit to lying or ignore us and confirm that you are lying. Those are your choices.
