Well i have seen a thread a long time ago about this senior in high school that had a vette i think sting ray model. And no one believed him.

I am sitting there like how hard is it to believe that? I never had the money to buy a new car but many of people I knew in high school had cars that were rare or brand new. There was a junior girl that had a 2010 Mustang gt. And another girl not sure on her grade but she had a 2010 or 2011 comaro ss. Someone even a hummer h2 and h3. This next car was beautiful a 1966 Mustang (it was restored like brand new) he drove it every other day. You also see kids having brand new imports like 350Zs ect. These cars which most of them their parents of course bought and probably some bought themselves. I guess the point is yes some people make up things to seem cool but some don't.

Me I own a 1994 GMC Sierra. That is in really great shape. Some of the people I used to work with in another state back in my early high school days (i am 20 years old now) had bought cars that they had a huge amounts of money and would drop at least 100k+ in each car they bought brand new (pretty much use your imagination for what they do because I am not saying)

He's posted proof he has access to the cars before, so there's no doubt there. What's ludicrous is that a 15 year old just dropped $22K on a Ferrari that hasn't moved in months.

Wise financial start, you are not on.

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont worry, I dont plan on paying any repair bills!

Ludicrous claim: there aren't any active ludicrous claims. I know that there are plenty, but, I'd like to make some garlic bread. Find one...

Otherwise, just for the fun of it, I own a formula 1 car. Yup.

Yeah...you've been warned to stop posting your own ludicrous claims. Everyone's pounded that joke out by now (look at the beginning), and you've done it twice.

Was I? I'm just trying to get the discussion away from Theace, like you wanted, by mentioning that there must be more ludicrous claims.

I plan to enjoy to the fullest extent!

Thanks for taking the time and effort to clear that up. đź‘Ť

However, owning a bunch of exotics is nothing to, say . . . taking time to hang out with the guys at el Segundo to design your own HotWheel car. Now, that would be a claim to make. ;)

There's a fine line between harassing a member (against the AUP) and calling out a member for lying (which is also against the AUP).

er... sorry, where exactly in the AUP does it say that you cannot call out a member for lying?

Sorry, Diego - you're right - the sense of the sentence was a little skewed which is why I bolded some words. Apologies for the bad grammar.

Even though i'm 14 I always tell to my friends I have a F458 or a MR2 G-Limited '97 and is like to drive it at Sarthe.

Explain thyself!!! :D

Not sure if I'd use exclamation marks in the presence of the Queen on England; but...

He was meeting the ludicrous with the ludicrous.

Unless.. . . :nervous:

No, MĂĽle is as Canadian as I am. I don't know about elsewhere, but, in Canada "and I'm the queen of England" is used a rhetorical device implying that the person who spoke beforehand is speaking blasphemy, lies, deceit, or some other form of incorrect nonsense.

Regardless, should that thread not stay in that thread? Hurricane Sandy's gone past, gents, and, basically, so has the thread.

He's got photos on Facebook, and I can attest to his racing career in Formula 3000. He's a friend of mine, but, he also was a Formule 3000 driver, mentioned in an Aussie V8 race, for his massive crash in "Chase," a corner at Bathurst.

Dave's a good guy. Don't doubt him, he'll surprise you.

He races like a Formula 3000 driver, too.
