Where are the huge payouts like 500,000 for gold, not some lousy 52,000 for gold, even with 200% its not much, when you are trying to save up for some of the rare 10,000,000 dollar cars and up.

Just do the Redbull events again, you can earn millions per hour doing them, they pay out just as much as any GT6 seasonal event ever has.

I buy and tune several cars each time I log on and have yet to drop below 15 million credits in the process. The Redbull event payouts are huge are take very little time.

Red Bull Jr, the AI is super slow and you can win every race easy. If you have the logon bonus maxed out you'll get about 170,000 a race plus 500,000 for the championship. Easy money. Also the Red Bull Standard races are a little more intense but if you want to do one quick just race the Nurburgring track. You can cut the chicane corner before the last turn and trounce the AI for a quick 200,000+ :mischievous:. I know it's cheap but I need that paper!

nevermind i will wait until next christmas for the season special 2.
Your shift key/button clearly works. Please use it.

AUP
You will not use “textspeak” (“r”, “u”, “plz”, etc.) in your messages. Decent grammar is expected at all times, including proper usage of capital letters.

The seasonals are not a charity. Go and grind the red bull events if you want quick credits. Or there are micro transactions. Look i said it
"Go and grind"

What a lame response. Not that it isn't correct, it is correct. What is lame, is that you have to "go and grind" this early.

There should be tons of different types of races in the career to hold your interest, and there should be about 50 seasonal races, I said RACES, no "one lap wonders".. or super lap or whatever it is called. There isn't one good race in seasonals that you can do now. GT5 has many more.... Just sad.

There's one good race in career, it is the Willow Springs 20 mile race in S-Class.. All the career races before are wrecked with lame AI that slow down on purpose and most of the other S-Class seasonals are wrecked with pit-stop racing tire bug.

Red Bull races get boring after a few times too..

These seasonal events sucked. First I had to spend my money on that horribly riced up Skyline, then the Chamonix event was a pain and made me wonder how on earth someone managed to beat it by 10 seconds. Took me like ten tries after wasting my money on Lancers that I had to resell later because I hate that car.

The LCC event was good though, and the paint chips were worth it. But I ended up spending more than I earned.

This has been complained about already. The reason for the lower payouts is because the high payouts was a holiday season special, but I do see why your angry. The only reason I do the seasonals anymore is because of the paint chips

They payouts are low to try and force people to spend real money on micro transactions. Which is exactly why I money glitched when it was available. GT6 is a big money profit title for PD at this point. Completely under developed, beta stage at best, and super low payouts in the career and in the seasonals. Big f-ing joke.

This is why players did the money glitch for because if there was low prize money like it is at the moment they would not have to worry about grinding. So to all the players out there who had done the money glitch they can have a grinding free day.

I do not agree. If they were truly trying to get you to buy credits, they wouldn't allow the redbull grinding which everyone has already mentioned.

How can you say that when there are championships that pay out $2-3m for 20 minutes of racing? Even if those events didn't exist, Like The Wind and Nascar races take three and a half minutes for well over $100k.

Sure it would be nice to have more events that paid out a little more so that you don't "grind" the same few things, but you can't say they're trying to nickle and dime their customers when they are throwing millions of credits at you.

Edit: Beaten

I'm starting to think some people are complaining for the sake of complaining.

easiest race to grind is Redbull champ. Just run trail mountain. 3 minutes gets you 260k with 200% bonus
The assumption being persons like the Red Bull cars-I only liked the junior one. Driving the car is so unrealistic; like driving an x-wing fighter.

For quick credits I run the 5 lap Nascar (with 200% login bounus) over and over :)

How would you explain the massive drop in payouts for seasonals then? You really think the microtransactions don't have anything to do with it?

Grinding sucks and takes a lot of time. GT drops the payouts of seasonals and more people are likely to use micro transactions. I don't think it's that complicated.

I have iver 6mill in the bank havent grinded once. With mission races and coffee breaks there are plenty of credits available.

Seriously guys? Moaning about upper/lower case letters? "Ur" instead of "you're/your"?

Of course people are going to be upset at the drop in prize credits from seasonal events. Of course they're going to be upset at the idea of micro transactions.

What you all seem to be over looking is the fact that for the "weekend user" or "family man" who only gets one to two hours a week to devote to the game, they've made it virtually impossible for them to just turn on the game and have a quick race in anything that resembles a car that you would want to race in, in a racing simulator anyway.
Lets face it, having to race in a Honda Fit at the start of GT6 is pretty sad for the type of game...err... simulator, that Gran Turismo is.

Oh yeah, of course there's arcade mode, but isn't that what need for speed is for? Arcade style racing!

But you can't deny the fact that yes, it pretty much is a game in Beta stages that has been released to us. In saying that though, how's that different to GT5?

In my defense of everything on this topic:

Yes, people will moan about it.
Yes, PD could've done a better job before fattening their wallets from ours.
Yes, micro transactions are something you expect from the COD franchise.
But... Yes, this is Gran Turismo, and you had a pretty good idea of what you were in for if you had GT5 before GT6 it was released, so if you don't like it that much, go play Need 4 Speed and stop whining about it!

Mmmm, did someone mention alcohol. . .

Festive bonus.

Regardless of the drop in seasonal money, it doesn't change the fact you can still earn $3m in about 20 minutes.

There was never a "festive bonus" in GT5 that I can remember. Just a large increase in payouts for seasonals to try and alleviate the amount of grinding that was necessary in GT5 due to a lack of career mode. Now the career mode is worse, seasonal payouts are lower, and micro transactions have been included.

Regardless of how much you can make by grinding, it's still grinding. I only did as much racing as I had to get online unlocked due to the horrible AI. No one wants to deal with rolling chicanes for hours to make a enough credits to be able to afford the ludicrously expensive cars in GT.

I really want to drive the Ferrari 250 GTO race car, but I'm not going to grind for hours to make 20 million credits to buy it, and I'm definitely not going to pay real money for fake credits.
