My Grindelwald time is under fire, good work!

But I'm back to the lab...I'll be back with a time and setup.

Here's my setup:

Springs: 9.5/10.5
Height: 92/92
Bound: 5/6
Rebound: 5/7
Camber: 1.0/0.8
Toe: 0.05/0.10
Stabilizer: 5/5

Set to 11 on Auto, then tweaked (1 thru 5, then final respectively)
2.393, 1.580, 1.132, 0.858, 0.680, 4.300

Downforce: .46/.75
LSD: 6/26/26

Understeers a little, because I dislike oversteer at The Grind.

Well I only improved by two tenths of a second. 1:15.3XX. I don't remember the last two decimal places unless it's a really awesome time.

I used Davey's set up. The only significant performance difference I noticed was in turn five, when your going up and left toward the back straight. I used to bounce there and be prone to spinning out or fishtailing. Those setups made it possible to fly throught that turn like I never knew you could. Unfortunately I screwed up other things and got pissed and quit for the night.

Still have to try the Elise GT1 on SS Rt. 5.

lol dont give up yet.. keep trying man.. all's the car really needs is a decent setup, and a driver that can fly through that track, i hardly had to break, just lots of letting off.. :).. try it again..

well i just saw that i was using normal tires, i forgot to switch to SS tires.. lol ill try it again, along with the Elise GT-1, and yes i do use manual tranny, only way to drive, and control the car good :)

like wowzers, i guess SS tires really do make a difference in racing.. here is my perfect flawless lap, mind you im still at 305 HP..

The Elise GT1 rules!! Not too many people realise that is able to be race modified so you can whip the elises in their little challenge. 😈

I'd power up the PS1 and get my Elise GT-1 settings for ya'll, but the misses is sleeping and I'll catch hell for waking her up...lol

Guess ya gotta wait till tomarrow.......and I gotta wait to try and beat the times ya'll posted...i love fridays woohoo.

Errrrr.....wait....that means todays thursday.......that means I missed Smackdown....damnit.......oh well.

Woah! One car/track combo at atime...I can hardly keep up. let's either:

1. Run a series
2. Use one car/track combo per thread
3. Let chaos resume

I'm for either 1 or 2, but I'm trying to be democratic.

This is unrelated and not really worth a new thread but I found out about this website from the Hot or Not Cars section. It is worth checking out if you don't know about it already. Click on the "models" link on the left side of the page when you get there :) Enjoy.

why dont you guys make a new thread, for Fast Car/Track combo times.. then when can do 1 car/track combo at once.. like wait for everyone to submit times for the first 1, then move onto the next, not a series but just for fun.. know what i mean??

Yes I do. But then it will get moved to another forum and to me, that's a pain. For now, this little thing is hidden and that's the only reason it hasn't been moved.

Hell no! I'm stuck at 1:15. But I've been using Auto. I'm currently practicing with manual.

I'm convinced that my problem is settings (if you can call it a "problem"). Basically, I don't know jack about settings. It's the next level of the game for me to master settings and manual. THEN I'll beat your time

ran the elise on Grindlewald (simulation disk)...2nd lap on the first run was 1.09.875, 2nd lap of the second run was 1.08.415.
