One year ago today, we lost Colin McRae. Here is a tribute i have put together.

Colin represented Great Britain/Scotland at the Race Of Champions in 1992 1995 1997 1998 2004 2005 & 2006. He was the Overall winner in 1998.

He taught both MotoGP Hero Valentino Rossi and Travis Pastrana how to be good Rally drivers.

You, know i actually sized everything for another forum where it was all lined up but it just didn't on this one. I know i missed 2005 but i guess i just wanted for that part to look pretty. I hope dirt is not the last time we see a Colin Rally Game. And i also hope Subaru makes a special STi in his honor just like the 2 they did for Richard Burns.

I actually own a 2006 STI white/Gold Wheels

You forgot his Sierra RS Cosworth which got him known to David Richards,No doubt one of the most important car's in his career.

That car is very far from WRC spec and infact has a normal impreza shell.

Myself, and a good friend of mine, went down to the pub and had a little tribute party (my good friend is a rally enthusiast who drives an STi powered Legacy GT). I saw the name writing on Fifth Gear, and was a little choked up to say the least. What an honor. He was a legend in Rally and will be sorely missed. First Richard Burns, then Colin Mcrae. Very sad loss to the world of rally and it's fans.

Sorry, i guess i'll add the Ford later. He also had his hand on an open wheel car and some motorbikes which i'll add as well.

I'm glad you guys all contributed. Makes me happy that i am not the only one that will miss him.

Well I've been browsing this thread a lot........ but I just can't believe its been a year already.

Anyways, just some of my contribution to this thread:

It was a great loss, I've set up a tribute event for GT5P owners in this thread, hope to see some of you there. Colin was one of my heros growing up even though I'm not the oldest of folk, and was only alive for the tail end of his career (1990 onwards). His attitude towards his driving is the only way in my opinion, give 100% 100% of the time. If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up to much room!

Rest in peace Colin. Never Forget.

Colin was one of my great heroes.

It makes the hour standing outside the Sokda tent at the last Wales rally GB he took part in seem so worth it for his autograph.

Sadly missed, shocking that it was over a year ago.

Cant believe its already 1 year ago since we lost this motorsport legend and today we lost Paul Newman aswell. R.I.P Paul Newman and Colin Mcrae!!

Thank-you for making this compilation, he was one of my favorite rally drivers, & he passed away 2 weeks before i went to my 1st rally race.
